Khalifa was brought out from the Surgery room, it took 3 hours to finish the surgery, and Alhamdulilah it was successful.
"Khadijah, I think you should go home maybe the kids are back from school". Maimuna said.
"Okay umma" Khadijah replied.
"Yusuf you should drop her, we are also leaving, we are going back to Kaduna Insha Allah," Abbi said.
"Okay Abbi, I think I'll follow you back after I drop her, I have some work to do," Yusuf replied.
"Okay, then you should leave the car for them, Maryam can drive". Said Abbi.
"Okay then, Khadijah let go," Yusuf called.
"I'm also coming with you guys". Maryam tagged along.

"Umma, I'm full, to be sincere," Khalifa cried out.
"No, you have to finish all this before I let you. You know the doctor said if you don't eat he will keep you here." Umma said
"No, give me the plate, "
Before Umma blinked her eyes, Khalifa had already finished all the food. He doesn't like staying at the hospital. He just wants to go back home.
His surgery was a successful one and he started walking a few days back. He's using a stick to support his legs and Alhamdulilah everything is moving well.
"Assalamu alaikum, Khadijah said while entering the room."
Maryam left after two days.
"Wa alikumus salam," they both answered.
"So he has finally finished the food, I wanted to call the doctor and inform him that you don't like eating," Khadijah said to Khalifa
"You don't have to tell him. I've finished it already". He said.
"That's good for you," she said.
After some days, they were discharged from the hospital.
"Umma, Abbi gave me money to register for JAMB," Khadijah said
"Allah Sarki, may Allah bless him abundantly. You better go before they close." Umma prayed.
"Ameen ya rabbi, okay umma let me call asma'u if she's ready." khady said.
"Assalamu alaikum," I said while entering Asma'u's house.
"Wa alikumus salam," my best friend answered.
"Girl! I missed you," asma'u said while hugging me.
"I'm not breathing girl, or want to kill me?"
"Nah! I don't want people to curse because I killed you," she said laughing.
"So that's the reason why you don't want to kill me, right? Okay fine. I know what to do about you." Khadijah said.
