I walked down to see books thrown everywhere with Day at the bookshelf talking with Stef. I didn't want to bother them so I left and picked up Lena so Jenna had her car for the day. Lena had told me what Stefan had told her, that she was adopted and how Stef was there when she and her parents went over Wickery Bridge and that's how he had saved her. She had invited me over to eat some pizza with her and Jer for dinner that night so we could plan what we were gonna wear for the 50s Decades Dance at school since I was gonna get ready at her house. The next day we had gone to dinner with BonBon and we were talking about her whole adoption thing when I noticed a new face at the bar who was talking to Matt. I had gotten a bad feeling from him but I ignored it and tuned back into the conversation. Lena said she had to go and I said so did I because I was tired and wanted to visit Boss Lady before going home. Lena had left and I walked with BonBon to help pay for half the bill. We both got up and that's when Day showed up and BonBon was pissed, "What do you want from me?" Damon grabbed me and tucked me under his arm and spoke to Bonnie, "I think we need a fresh start." She was shocked and countered with, "You tried to kill me." I nodded my head and looked at him, "She's got a point Day," he put his mouth on my ear and whispered, "Not helping," so I laughed and hooked my finger in a loop on his pants and decided to be quiet for the rest of the conversation, "But I didn't, I could've, but I didn't and does that not count for anything?" She narrowed her eyes at Damon, "You know I can start fires with my mind. Fires kill vampires, right? Just stay the hell away from me." I sighed and grabbed BonBon's hand and put my hand on Day's chest to push him back a little, "Come on Day, just give her some space. She's not really fond of you right now, you got to give her time. What did I tell you about being patient?" He put his hand over mine and looked at me for a second longer and nodded slightly, I smiled and looked at BonBon who was shocked that he listened to me but before we could go our separate ways a new voice joined in, "Everything okay over here?" It was the guy I got bad vibes from, I rolled my eyes and kissed Bonnie on the cheek goodnight and I dragged Damon out of the Grill so we could go home.
The next day Lena had told me about that vampire that we hit had called her so she was at the boarding house the next morning where Stef gave her the pocket watch/compass that Logan Fell had that could point out vampires. When it was already dark I grabbed a duffle for all my stuff so I could head over to Lena's to start getting ready. When I went downstairs I saw Day sitting at a desk writing something so I walked around the table and leaned against the desk so I was facing him, "Hey Day, I'm heading over to Lena's so I can get ready. What are you doing?" He looked at me and leaned back in his chair, "I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna open this tomb. I was trying to find my father's journal earlier to see if there'd be any clues about it, but I couldn't find it." I nodded slightly, "Do you want me to try and ask BonBon?" He looked at me, smiled slightly, and stood up from his chair to stand in front of me then grabbed my face, and kissed me on my forehead, "No, it's okay. She'll know you're doing it for me." I grabbed his wrists and looked into his eyes, "Be careful okay. I love you and I don't want you getting hurt." He laid his forehead against mine, I promise," I smiled, kissed him on the cheek, and made my way to Lena's house.
