The next morning I made a plan. I had made the difficult decision to move out of the Salvatore boarding house. This was something I was already thinking about for a very long time, but after finding out that my friends tried to kill Nikky and now I can't find any sign of Bekah anywhere, I thought it was best to play Switzerland and be in my own home away from both sides. I wasn't angry at Day and everyone for trying to kill Nikky, after all, Nikky has been trying to kill them for the past couple of months. I started the process and made some phone calls and looked for some places until I finally found a small little house right outside of town, fully furnished, in the middle of the woods near a lake, which was absolutely perfect for me. I started packing and decided not to tell anyone until the last minute. I knew if I told Day my plans to move he'd try to convince me to stay, and there's a slight chance that he'd be able to convince me and I couldn't let that happen, but it wasn't like I would never visit. I'd still probably spend most of my time here and even sleepover if I wanted to. I had already packed some of my clothes and books in boxes leaving just enough clothes for the next week and had made the call to some movers who would stop by at the end of this week to pick up my things. I also spoke to Carol and decided to buy Boss Lady's bookstore. It was closed after they found her body following the tomb vampire events and with a little convincing and my best puppy dog face Carol let me buy the property and I couldn't wait because I had plans for it that I thought would be amazing.
While I was packing, Lena called me to tell me about some stuff that happened yesterday that had me shocked. The first was Nik had compelled Jer to stand in the middle of the road only for one of his hybrids to come speeding down trying to kill him. I told Lena I'd go and have a talk with him. I knew why he was doing this, he already called me asking if I knew where Stef was because he stole the four coffins housing the Original family and hid them somewhere. She said Lark was able to save him and thankfully he was wearing his magic juju ring, but there were complications after he woke up so he still had to go to the hospital. She also told me about Jer killing the hybrid and having Day compel Jer to leave town and stay with some family in Denver. BonBon called me last night telling me about her dreams about the four coffins and Nikky being in one of them. It was a lot of information to handle, including Damon showing up in my room last night talking to me about finding where Stef was hiding, compelling Jer to leave town, and kissing Lena, again! Pushing the thoughts away I decided to take my shower and head to school because it was also Caroline Forbes's birthday today! So, there was a plan to decorate Care's locker and I didn't want to be late. I had already bought her a gift from New Orleans before coming home so I was prepared and quickly got ready making sure to hide the boxes in my room so Day wouldn't see them.

I arrived at school and I made my way down the hall that was already filling with students and spotted Jer and walked to him first and hugged his torso from behind, "I heard from your sis, I'm gonna miss you best friend." He chuckled and looked at me over his shoulder, "Does this mean you're not mad at me anymore for what happened with Anna?" I sighed and looked up at him, "I think you almost dying warrants forgiveness. Besides, I missed you. You better call me at least once a week or I will drive up to Denver and kick your ass." He laughed again and turned in my arms to hug me, "I will, I promise. I'm gonna miss you V." I buried my head in his chest, "I'm gonna miss you too Jer. Since you're leaving there's something I want to tell you, but you have to promise not to tell anyone since I plan to tell them at the end of the week." I looked at him and he nodded so I continued, "I decided to move out of the Salvatore house." He looked shocked, "Wow, Damon isn't gonna like that," I winced a little, "I know, I'm also planning on opening up the bookstore and making it into a little coffee shop/library/bookstore where people can read books or buy them while enjoying some coffee." He smiled at me, "That sounds amazing V. I think you were made to do something like that, it'll suit you." I smiled big at the compliment, "Thanks Jer!" He kissed my forehead making me giggle and I noticed BonBon approaching us and I knew it was about finding out he's leaving for Denver, so I said bye to Jer and giving a quick kiss to BonBon I made my way to Lena to help her with the rest of Care's locker only for her to not show up at school that day so BonBon, Lena, Mattie and I made a plan to surprise her at her house since I have spare keys that Liz gave me.
