The next morning I wanted to spend some time with Beks so I went over to the Mikaelson mansion after my usual morning routine but when I got there Bekah wasn't there so I just spent my time with Kol and Nikky who were there until finally Nikky gave me a sketch pad and we sat on the couch together, just sketching, while Kol sat listening to music trying to catch up with today's culture. Finally, Beks had arrived, still in her dress from last night, and Kol decided to tease her. I continued my sketch I was doing of a wolf and watched Nikky smirk from the banter between Kol and Beks until she looked to Nik annoyed, "Don't start Nik." He paused in his sketch, "I didn't say anything." Beks walked closer to us and kissed my temple and I got a wif of her scent. I paused for a moment in thought trying to pinpoint where I knew that smell of cologne from until I finally realized so I widened my eyes and gasped loudly while pointing at her with my mouth hanging open, "OH! OH! OH! OOOOOOH!!!" Her eyes widened in panic figuring that I knew who she slept with last night, "Nova!" I burst out laughing and felt tears stream down my face from how hard I was laughing, "You...You...You slept with -. " Before I could get Damon's name out she sped to me covering my mouth making me flop on the couch with my head in Nikky's lap, "Novallia. Don't. You. Dare. Promise me! Promise!" I nodded my head so she slowly moved her hand away from my mouth so it was silent for a moment until we made eye contact and I burst, "AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH." She rolled her eyes, "I hate you," I stopped laughing, now just smiling, "Oh you love me, but don't worry, your secrets safe with me, I promise." Kol spoke up, "Well, I'm bored, Our sister's a strumpet and it seems only Val and our sister are the only ones having fun. I need entertainment." Nik looked down at me, my head still in his lap, "Well what are you waiting for? Go on. Have at it." Kol rolled his eyes, "It's not fun alone. Come with me, it's the least you can do after daggering me in the heart." I laughed and sat up and looked at Nik until he reluctantly agreed and decided to head to the grill. Kol looked at me expectantly, "You coming?" I thought about it and shook my head, "I'll meet you guys later." He nodded and left so Bekah flopped beside me on the couch when Lijah walked in, "Rebekah, I'm worried about mother." Bekah couldn't understand what Lijah was worried about and just brushed the topic off and walked to her room to change while Lijah stood where he was standing so I stood up and walked to him, "Actually Lijah, I didn't want to say anything but I have a really bad feeling about your mother...I can't put my finger on it, but I just know something bad is going to happen." He grabbed the back of my head and guided it to his chest to hug me, "I know little one. I'm going to find out what. You needn't worry." I nodded my head against his chest and eventually he left and I went back to finishing my sketch until I decided I'd meet the boys as the grill.
I decided to walk since it was nice out and as soon as I got close to the grill I spotted Nikky and Care talking on a bench. They were laughing and despite the feelings I had for Nik I was happy to see them happy together like that. I started to walk to them when I felt an excruciating pain in my chest, I furrowed my brow and grabbed at my chest with a gasp when I felt liquid starting to pool in my mouth. I lifted my hand to wipe at my mouth and brought my hand to see blood when I coughed, the blood splattering on the floor. I looked up to make eye contact with Care who looked horrified at me, "Nova!?" Nikky spun around to look at me and his eyes widened at the blood pouring from my mouth and the growing bloodstain on my chest. Tears pooled in my eyes from the pain and I made eye contact with Nikky, "Nikky..." He sped to me just as I collapsed and started to sputter out blood that was pooling in my throat making it hard to breathe. He bit his wrist to heal me but it didn't work so he looked to Caroline, "What did you do?" Care stood there speechless and shook her head, "Nothing," Nik got upset and stood back up grabbing Care by the arms, "WHAT DID YOU DO!" She shook her head again, scared, "I didn't do anything. Stop it." Nikky continued to look at her when a look of realization crossed his face, "Kol." Nik picked me up and sped to an alleyway where Lark, Stef, and Day had a desiccated Kol with a dagger in his chest. He placed me on the top of the stairs quickly where I continued to bleed from my mouth while Nik quickly pulled the dagger out of Kol pushing Lark away and threw Stefan who lunged at him. He looked at Day who stood standing, "I should have killed you months ago." Day had scoffed, "Do it. It's not gonna stop Esther from killing you...What? You didn't know I was friends with mummy? Oh yeah, we have a lot in common. She hates you as much as I do." I gasped hearing that and Nik lunged at him but Lijah showed up, "Leave him. We still need him Niklaus." I still sat leaning against the wall when I coughed up blood again catching everyone's attention making Lijah and Nik speed to me and kneel in front of me. Lijah bit his wrist and fed me his blood making me heal this time and looked to Damon angry, "You never told me Novallia was linked as well." Damon looked shocked, "I...I," I started to cry and looked at him, "What? What is he talking about Day?" He shook his head, "I didn't know...We didn't know. Elena never said anything about Esther linking Nova!" I furrowed my brow still crying, "Lijah, what did she do? What did you're mother do Elijah!" He looked me up and down at all the blood on me and stood up walking up to Damon angrily while Nik picked me up and held me in his arms as I continued to cry, "Tell me where the witches are now or I'll have my sister kill Elena right now." Day looked up at the big clock, "You told me we had till nine," Lijah tilted his head, "Well I'm sure Rebekah would be more than happy to start her work early."
