The next morning I had woken up to Nikky still sleeping beside my so after completing my usual morning routine I made breakfast for the both of us and he eventually left saying he needed to complete some business with Jeremy's new hunter's mark that would lead to the cure for vampirism. I decided to clean around the house until everything was spotless and took a shower and changed so I could go and get groceries since I was running low. When I opened the door the person I expected the least to be there was standing in front of me and I gasped, "Beks?!" She smiled at me and opened her arms for me like usual and I raced to her with tears already streaming down my face, "Where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you! I've been calling, I've left hundreds of messages. I couldn't find you..." Beks caressed my head and comforted me, "Nik didn't want me in the way of getting the cure. He and Stefan tricked me into revealing where the sword that's used to decipher the map was. Stefan had me hidden in the underground caves." I winced, "Damn, I didn't think to check there. I'm sorry Bekah." She smiled and kissed my nose, "It's alright Ladybug, April found me. I have a little revenge planned out so I need you and I called for some reinforcements." I nodded my head agreeing to help her when I heard a voice behind her, "Is this the part where I reveal myself?" I gasped at the familiar voice and looked behind her to see the one and only, "KOL!" I ran to him and jumped in his arms making him laugh and spin me around which made me giggle, "Miss me, Val?" I laughed, "Always, Troublemaker." After our small reunion, we went inside and I brought them up to date on everything that I knew about that happened in Mystic Falls although not much since I've been kind of out of the loop with everything. I told them that Nik and I confessed our love for each other the night before, and they weren't that much surprised. Afterward, we made our plans on what we were going to do to get any information from the gang that we could and we decided to strike at the school where everyone would be there to have a small memorial service for Carol. I didn't really want to do it then since I still cared about her but I didn't have much of a choice but Bekah promised she'd wait till after the service.

I was currently sitting in the library on top of a short bookshelf, leaning on my hands, and swinging my feet like a little girl talking with April, catching her up on all the supernatural stuff that she was kept in the dark about when it was finally time to execute operation 'Lure Scooby Gang for Answers', clearly, I was the one who named it. After a while, Elena, Stefan, and Caroline were all here and compelled to stay and not leave school. Caroline kept looking at me as if she wanted to say something so I rolled my eyes, "Save it, Caroline. Whatever you have to say, I don't want to hear it." All three of them looked down in shame until finally, Bekah started the questions into what's new in Mystic Falls. I tuned out most of it until she asked why Elena was so surprised that she said Stefan would take the cure to grow old together with Elena. What came out next made me gasp and made me sit up in shock, Stefan and Elena broke up and the reason being Elena slept with Damon not knowing at the time she was sired to him. Furthermore, she confessed that she slept with him not because she was sired but because she was in love with Damon. I covered my mouth and it was silent for a moment until I burst out laughing incredulously, "Of course..." Elena had glared at me with a look that would kill so I glared back and started to give her an aneurysm. She started to clutch at her head in pain when finally Kol arrived with Professor Atticus Shane, popping his head through the door and smirking at my handy work so I eventually released her from my magic and I looked her in the eye, "Don't ever look at me like that again." Caroline had spoken up, "This isn't you Nova...I miss the girl you were," I turned my glare to her, "Many will...She was easier to kill." I got off the bookshelf and made my way outside the library to where they took the Professor to question him about the location of the cure.
