It was a new day so I had Hope awake in my arms making a snack for Cam and Lijah. They were both in another room talking so Cam could help him through his recent violent behavior. Carrying Hope in one arm I grabbed the tray of food with the other and walked to them and overheard the last bit of their conversation. Now before you go accusing me of anything, I already knew everything Lijah was telling Cam. I saw it when I was in his mind when we first rescued him. He told me in detail after he woke up about the red door that played a significant role in his past where he always kept his misdeeds behind. It was in front of this door where he killed Tatia and lied about it to Nikky who believes it was their mother who did it. I promised I wouldn't say anything because he said it was best it was forgotten, although I thought otherwise. Breaking me from my train of thought I heard Cam say Lijah's name in a panic so I quickly walked into the room to see Lijah unconscious on the floor. Panicking myself, I put the tray down quickly and kneeled next to him with Hope still in my arms. I pushed back pieces of his hair and looked at Cam, telling her to call Nik. She did and Vina was the one to answer, not only was Lijah unconscious but so was Nik which meant Kol was too. Vina said it was Finn's doing and all we could do was wait until they woke up.

After a few hours, Lijah finally woke up making me sigh in relief and touch our foreheads together, "Are you okay?" He cupped my cheek, "For now," I looked at him in confusion and he explained that he told Nik about Tatia and he actually forgave him, making a feeling of pride and relief fill my chest. He called Nik while Cam and I sat on the couch playing with Hope who was giggling. Nikky still wanted us to stay here but apparently, the vampires were able to get out of a barrier Finn had put on the compound and managed to not kill everyone on the streets of New Orleans. Despite getting out without a hitch, Finn placed a spell that intensifies their hunger. However, when Nik went to find them at Mar's loft they disappeared along with Esther who Nik found out Finn was channeling as well as their father. Bekah was still missing which made me even more worried but we decided we had enough excitement for the day and called it a night. Everyone went to sleep while I stayed with Hope to try and make her fall asleep so I rocked with her humming until she finally closed her eyes, "Goodnight, My Heart," I put her down and fell asleep in the rocking chair next to her crib.

The next morning I awoke with good and bad news, Bekah was home. She was trapped in a house that witches are cursed to stay in for eternity but someone who is claiming to be Freya, their sister who was taken, helped her escape and disappeared soon after. The bad news is Finn placed some sort of curse over Kol's body, trapping him in it, unable to jump bodies if he were to die and he is dying. I asked Nik if I could leave but he wanted me to stay and I agreed, knowing that I'd put Hope before anyone, putting me in a bit of a dilemma with my feelings. I didn't want to think about that so I distracted myself by helping Lijah cook breakfast. I was taking out ingredients and kept playfully bumping Lijah with my hip making him laugh slightly at my silliness while Cam played with Hope in the other room. I stood in front of the cutting board while Lijah was just about to crack an egg over the pan when we heard a crash and Hope's loud cry. I panicked and instinct took over as I ran to them in the next room, Lijah following close behind. Cam explained Hope pulled a cloth from the table and a knickknack had fallen on her head leaving a nasty cut on her head. I was so busy trying to help Cam calm Hope down that when I looked to Lijah I saw him with a far-off look. I suspected he went to the red door so I stepped in front of him and grabbed his face, "Lijah, it's alright..." Once he snapped out of it and looked at me his face showed confusion and I understood why when he reached for my forehead, no doubt adorning an identical scratch like Hope.
