Chapter 18: Forced Transferee

ARANYA

Agad akong natahimik sa sumunod na sinabi ng bise presidente ng Harman. He surely wants to punish me for I don't know what reason. Hindi ko siya kilala at ni anino niya ay hindi ko pa nakita noon pero bakit ganoon na lamang ang galit niya sa akin? Bakit desidido siyang bigyan ako ng parusa?

"You become silent. So I'm right---"

"What makes you think of that Lucian? Are you aware of what's going on? Does that mean you are involved to this?"

Ngayon ay napatingin ang lahat sa vice president na animo'y may ginawa itong hindi maganda. Nakuha niya ang atensyon ng lahat at parang natigilan din ito sa titig ng lahat.

"I-It was a theory. I mean, there is a possibility in it." Depensa niya at inayos ang pagkakaupo dahil parang agad na nawala ang pagiging komportable niya sa kinauupuan.

"Really? Me? You think I'm having an intimate relationship with someone?" Paghahamon naman ni Seth habang naniningkit na nakatitig dito habang nakapulupot ang mga braso.

"Well, there are rumors of you---"

"You believe in rumors? Really Lucian? Since when did you become a gossip girl?"

Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero masyado na talaga silang nagkakainitan na dalawa. Pagpasok pa lang ni Seth ay nagtatalo na sila. I really sense a deep anger between these two.

"Officers, shall we please continue the statement? I think we're getting off the subject already." Ani ng isang guro na nakaupo sa kanang gilid ng mesa at nagpabiling-biling sa dalawa bago tumingin kay Cole. "Please proceed."

Wala namang nagawa si Cole kundi ang sumunod. He cleared his throat to get everyone's attention before speaking.

"As I was saying, the message that madam received is obviously a bait for her to come here. Someone inside the campus wants her to get in and let her be punished." Paliwanag ni Cole at saka tumingin sa akin. "She's an innocent victim. We can't punish her if she has no idea of what's going on."

"If she is indeed not aware of our rules about not allowing outsiders to get inside the campus then why is she wearing our uniform? Where did you even get one miss?" Sunod na tanong ng teacher sa akin habang naniningkit ang mga matang nakatitig sa akin na parang hindi siya naniniwalang inosente ako. I was about to defend myself when Jiro intervened.

"That's a good question ma'am. Turns out, a student of Harman came over to Ms. Ara here and told her that she was sent by the president himself to give her the uniform to get in. The  thing is, this student is not even close to him and this student have proven herself to be our president's hater." He explained before grining at the vice president and looking at him evilly.

"May I know who's this student?" Si Seth naman ang nagtanong kay Jiro pero hindi man lang niya ito nilingon at nakatingin lamang sa kaaway.

"El Canuel. The vice president's cousin herself gave it to Ms. Ara. I wonder why she's not around though. She was the one who caught us."

Habang tumatagal ay nagiging malala na ang sitwasyon. Marami na ang nadadamay na estudyante dahil lang sa pagpasok ko at walang balak magpaawat ang kahit isa.

"You want my cousin's statement? Okay. I'll call her." Deretsahan naman na sagot ni vice president at walang sabi-sabing kinuha ang cellphone niya at tumawag.

"Let's wait for Ms. Canuel's statement before we finalize everything." Seth commanded with his voice full of authorization kaya't nagsimula nang mag-usap-usap ang lahat. Nabigla naman ako nang lumapit sa akin si Cole at tinapik ako sa balikat.
