Chapter 38: Completely Worried

Everyone was silently eating at the long round table as no one dared to say a word. After what happened yesterday, nanahimik na ang lahat kahit ang mismong mga magulang ni Seven. They all know how stressed and angry their son is after the current events. Kahit ako ay magwawala talaga nang matindi dahil parang ibinabagsak sayo ang lahat ng kamalasan.

Seven's world is falling right before his eyes that he lost his right thinking and became way reckless than before. Parang nakawalang leon sa zoo ang galit ni Seven at hindi na maibabalik pa sa lungga nito. But of course we all know that the only one who can tame this lion is Ara who's unfortunately not around to calm him down.

The outstanding noise of the clattering of cutleries in plates are the only one that's keeping the function of my ear in progress as I try to look at everyone on the table who are all too focused on the meal. No one is making any eye contact and just keep scooping food from their plates so I just did the same and lower my head.

I was about to put something in my mouth when a woman's voice called out everyone's attention, "Is this a funeral gathering?" Ma'am Charlotte asked as she slowly walk towards us while everyone's eyes are on her.

"Charlotte! What a nice surprise you're here!---"

"Where is she?"

Seven cut his mother's greeting to his cousin as he storms of the table and went straight to his pregnant cousin, ignoring her condition and intimidating her with his serious glare.

"What have you done to her?" He asked threateningly with his clenched jaw and his knuckles gripping hard that it almost turned white.

Ma'am Charlotte on the other hand was not scared at all. She gave back the same serious glare that Seven gave as she shakes her head in disappointment, "So this is now how you greet your cousin?" She gritted her teeth as she holds on to her big stomach, "I am warning you Seven, even if I am seven months pregnant, I can shove your head right through the wall." She even pointed on the next wall near the table before looking back at her cousin as she looked at him, daring for Seven to try picking on her again.

"Okay that's enough Seth. Get back in the table and let your cousin---"

"I'm not gonna let her sit with us until she tell me where Ara is!" He already yelled at his mother as he pointed at his cousin with his index finger trembling in anger.

"How dare you speak to me like that young man?" His mom retaliated as she stand and hit the table out of loss of patience to her son's behavior, "Go to your room right now before I cut that filthy tongue of yours!"

Seven did not utter a word as he hurriedly walks away, storming out of the kitchen and I followed as a part of my obligation.

School was so boring. I am not used to everyone being as silent as fuck and not just in the classroom but also when we go to the VIP room. It was like someone just died and the silence becomes unbearable every minute.

"Y'all aren't dead inside yet are you?" I finally asked as I look at everyone excluding Seven who's busy looking at Renzi and Den who were hacking the CCTV cameras in the Del Fierro family house.

Thunder exhaled heavily as he leans over his chair, "You know the word guilt? Back then I never really thought that word existed." He lazily said before shaking his head in disbelief, "I have her in my arms that time. I was the one who's holding her and yet I let my guard down because of a single fucking slash."

This is the first time I ever saw Thunder this guilty. Napasabunot siya sa sariling buhok habang nakayuko na parang walang mukhang maipakita sa amin pagkatapos ng nangyari although it was not really his fault. If I were in that situation, mabibitawan ko talaga si Ara dahil hindi naman kami robot para hindi makaramdam ng sakit kapag nasaksak.
