When Love and Hate Collide [Completed]

Prologue

KINDNESS is an attractive personality of a person and a good luring technic to other people who easily get fooled. Never fall for a man easily, they say. Because falling means hurting yourself. Hitting the ground can be lethal and in my case, heart-breaking and soul crumbling.

When we first met, I thought of great things about him. I did not mind about his peculiar behavior nor his mysterious side. All I see is his sweetness and kindness to me. He treated me gently even he barely knows who I am. He is like a hard candy with a soft jelly on the inside. People may think he is a snob and he does not give a damn about the world, but deep inside of him is soft. Or was I just blinded by his sweet gestures that I did not realized that the candy I am taking is actually poisonous?

“Bakit mo ginawa iyon Seth? Why would you shoot a helpless man?” My voice cracked and my mouth trembled in shock as I see him holding a gun and shoot a man in the head.

I never thought of him doing terrible things, but I can’t deny the fact that I am looking at him right now as he holds a weapon of mayhem and just killed someone who is helplessly tied in a rotting chair. I witnessed how he pulled the trigger with no mercy and it shook me down to my core. The thought of him doing it to me made my knees tremble in fear.

His eyes slightly widens as his jaw clenches before he puts the gun down, “What are you doing here Aranya?” His cold voice cracked in shock. He was not expecting me to be here in this dirty and crumbling building where all of his crimes are made. Where all of his hidden personality comes out. “You’re not supposed to be here.”

I was warned twice. He told me to never follow where he went and I simply thought its because I might bother him. Turns out, it was because he was hiding something. Something I am not meant to know. This is not the Seth I know. He’s a very charming prince and a dream guy come to life. But turns out he is a monster. A demon in disguise.

“Leave now Aranya. And don’t come back here ever again.”
