Chapter 40: The Serious Preparation

"Everyone's improving really fast and I am proud to say that you are all performing well in your trainings. Halatang balak ninyong manalo talaga sa laban."

The teacher is finally announcing the current ratings of the class after days and days of training. I myself did the same thing at sinunod ang sabi ni ma'am Akiko na 'wag na 'wag akong magpapahuli. Thankfully its over but the real deal has come. Bukas na magsisimula ang pinakanakakatakot na araw ng buhay ko. I know it was coming but still, its scary. It terrifies my soul that I badly want to run. Sadly, there's no turning back here anymore and everything is already set. I just hope I have prepared enough.

"Anyway, today will be a free day for you. You all decide whether you will plan how to survive or train more. You can also start writing your letters for your family in case you fail the test. Pass the your letters to me so that I can keep them and give it to them personally if something happens. Now I'll leave you for a minute."

Kasunod ng pagpapaalam ni sir ay agad na nagsitayuan ang mga kaklase ko at kanya-kanyang gumawa ng balak nilang kaabalahan. I also stood up from my chair as I turn to Seth, "I'm going to the restroom." Pagpapaalam ko sa kaniya bago ibinalik muna kay Cole ang tablet niya.

"No, I don't need company. I can handle myself now Seth. Nagpaalam lang ako at alam kong magtatanong ka kung saan ako pupunta." I explained to him and he nodded as a reply.

"I know you don't need it. You're a fighter now." He complimented as he slowly brush his fingers on my hand wrist that made me giggle before finally walking out of the classroom.

Naghugas ako ng kamay sa vanity pagkatapos gumamit ng banyo at maglalakad na sana palabas nang biglang pumasok si El. Ang magaling na pinsan ni Lucian na nagbigay sa akin ng uniporme para makapasok ako rito sa Harman.

She was looking at me sharply as she walk right in with her eyes squinted and her teeth gritted, "You stealing bitch!" She pointed at me angrily as she walks closer with her feet eagerly stomping at the tiles of the floor, "Seven and I know each other for a long time! I deserve him more than you do! How dare you take him away from me?"

Saglit pang napakunot ang noo ko bago nahihiwagaang tumititig sa kaniya habang bakas pa rin na naguguluhan ako sa ginawa niyang pagkompronta, "Steal him from you? Are you two together before he started hitting on me?"

Halos umusok na ang tenga niya at lalong namula ang kaniyang mukha sa sobrang galit. Pakiramdam ko'y puputok na ang ugat niya sa leeg habang mabilis na naghahabol ng hininga, "Hit on you? Is that how delusional you are?"

The way I hit her nerve big time unexpectedly gave me a different kind of pleasure. The desire of pissing her even more started wiring down to my system as a smirk forms in my lip, "Oh, I wasn't delusional. He was indeed the one who came and courted me. He drives me home, takes me out, and guess what, we even had a good make out session last night."

She snapped out and was about to hit me but I quickly grabbed on her wrist before her close fist hits my face, "Don't you dare try to hit me again or I will kill you where you stand." I threatened her badly while gripping her wrist tight and then I pushed her hard to keep her out of my way.
