Chapter 34: Messed Up Love

ARANYA

I woke up in an unfamiliar room where everyone is looking at we with great relief as they walk towards the bed. I was feeling fine at first pero nang makita ko ulit ang ama ni Seth ay muling bumalik ang takot ko. I trembled as I look at his face and all the pain he caused me back then came back.

He did not hit me at all currently but the pain in my face from repeated slaps and punches he gave back then is now giving burning pain my skin. The electric shocks he gave happened years ago but I can still feel the electricity creeping in every part of my body.

"Huwag po! Tama na! Ayoko na po!" I screamed as I try to push everyone away while I look at only one man, "Tama na po! Lumayo kayo sa'kin!"

"Its me Ara! Its me!" Seth was trying to calm me down as he turn to where I was looking, "Papà, leave us now!" He commanded and the father obliged as he look at with great confusion and concern before he was guided by his wife to leave the room.

As the door closes, I started crying out loud. Umiyak ako nang umiyak at walang masabi ni isang salita habang pinanggigigilan ang kumot.

"Ara, tell me what's wrong. What happened?" Seth was about to touch my face but then I pushed his hand away.

"Lumabas ka rin." I commanded him coldly as I look away from his eyes, knowing that I will surely be swayed again easily.

"But Ara---"

"I said get out now!" This time, I already yelled to force him to leave. I cannot look at him right now. Not any second after what I have learned.

Akala ko ay magmamatigas ito pero sumunod siya. I also heard some of the guys went out pero marami pa rin ang natira including Jiro, Cal, and Thunder. Nakatingin sila sa akin at parang nag-aabang na may sabihin ako pero hindi ko alam kung kakayanin kong umamin sa kanila.

As for that man, I thought the police caught him? Sabi sa akin ni tita Precious ay nasa mental na ito at hindi na niya hahayaan pang makalabas ang lalaki. But why is he here? Why is he wearing a fancy coat and living in a lavish life? Of all places, of all the circumstances, why would it have to be in Seth's family?

"Ara, what---"

"Remember the man I told you who tortured me?" Thunder was about to ask but I already cut him off since I know what he'll say. Akala ko ay mananatili silang tahimik pero si Thunder lang ang naglakas loob na magsalita.

"Well turns out its Seth's father. I will never forget his face. That monstrous face." I tried so hard not to cry when I mentioned it as I wait for their reaction but then Thunder stormed out of the room without a word. Sumunod doon si Cal at ang iba na mukhang kinabahan sa susunod na mangyayari.

"What the fuck is happening?" Seven complained to everyone as his jaw clenched in great annoyance of how clueless everyone was.

I looked at sir Salvatore who's also confused about what just happened. Based on his crumpled face, he was trying to figure out why did Ara react like that when she saw him. And so was everyone that tita Alena keep asking her husband if he ever met Ara but he keeps saying no. He does not remember her even a little.

We were all clueless when we heard the door opened harshly as Thunder comes out and so was Cal. They both look so serious as they turn their heads to sir Salvatore as their faces darken like they were about to pick up a fight with our boss.

"Sir, I respect you so much like how I respect my parents," Thunder said as he stood up in front of our big boss without even minding everyone, "But why would you do that?" I turned to his knuckles gripping hard as he try to suppress a large amount of anger.
