Chapter 8: Kitchen

"Avneet, do you know, this is my favourite doll. And her name is violet." She said and I smiled at her. Her voice is so cute.

"Wow! Nice doll." I said taking the doll from her hand and she gave it to me. Her hair was violet coloured. Explains why her name is violet.

"And.. this is her friend, her name is Eva." She said giving me another doll. "You play with Eva and I will play with Violet okay?" She asked in her cute baby voice and I nodded smiling. "Can you help me dress them? I'm confused. What should I make her wear?" She said with a cute pout. I chuckled looking at her and nodded.

"Melanie, I guess that pink dress would really look nice on Violet." I said taking a pink dress from the mini cupboard and she squealed. She's so cute.

"Yes, and call me Mel. Even Siddharth calls me that." The word Siddharth sounds so cute from her mouth. "Siddharth, come and play with me." She called him. And I almost forgot he was standing on the staircase since forever.

"It's okay Mel, he needs to go and complete his homework." I said and chuckled making her chuckle too. Siddharth rolled his eyes and came towards us. Reminder, he still isn't wearing his shirt.

"What doll do I get Mel?" He asked in his sleepy voice which was so sexy!

"Here is mark, and he is Eva's boyfriend. They are going to get married today." She said and handed him a doll who was wearing a tuxedo.

"Oh okay. And who is Eva?" He asked.

"Eva is with Avneet." She said and he looked at me and smirked. I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Go and study." I whispered as Mel was changing eva's clothes.

"You expect me to just leave my sister over here when she wants to play with me. Mom would shout me more if I leave and say no to her." He whispered me back as I smiled at him.

"Avneet how is she looking?" She asked showing me Eva who was now wearing a wedding gown.

"Wow! She's looking so pretty, just like you." I said and pinched her nose slightly and she giggled.

We played for the next 30 to 40 minutes until Mel said she was hungry. I nodded and went inside the kitchen as Siddharth came there to show me stuff.

"Here is the dinner, here are the plates and stuff." He said.

"Okayy." I said heated up the dinner.

"So, you like my abs don't you?" He asked smirking as my cheeks heated up, but but but, I managed to roll my eyes okay? "Oh please I saw you staring right at them when I came down, I caught you red handed so don't. You. Ever. Deny." He said taking a step closer with every word. Our faces were inches apart. Unlike last time he smelled minty and nice. No alcohol no cigarettes. He tucked a few hair strands behind my ear. I shivered. He made his way towards my waist and I looked at him with shock. He picked me up so easily like I was a freaking feather. He placed me on the kitchen island. And now we were on the exact same height. He placed both of his hands on the either sides. "Avneet." He whispered in my ears.

"Y-y-yes?" I stammered.

"I,"

"Avneet." We heard a voice as Siddharth got as far as he could. We saw Mel standing on the door with dolls in her hand. I chuckled looking at Siddharth who's face looked annoyed. I jumped down and went towards her.
