Never in his entire life did he expect what was coming to him, a boyfriend that he had completely fallen in love with. For the first time since his parents died, he was able to feel happy again. To only find out that his boyfriend was only with him because of a bet.
Lance never wanted to hurt Keith, he made a mistake and he only realized that when he actually fell for Keith. Now that he had these feelings he did not want to let Keith go.
"You're only in this relationship because of a bet?" Keith says barely enough for everyone to hear. Keith's anger getting the best of him and punches Lance across the face, "You were in this relationship to make fun of me and my sexuality?!" Lance stands there in shock and just letting Keith lash out to him. "I deserved that." Lance let's out and Keith punches him once more. "We were together for two years Lance!" Keith yanks the necklace that Lance gave him on their first anniversary and chucks it to Lance's feet. "Was it all a lie?" Keith cries out and Lance stays silent, "Keith-" Lance tries to take hold of Keith's hand, "Just don't." Keith yanks his hand away and walks out of the cafeteria.
