Kitty's POV-
Rained pounded down upon the closed window in my room. A storm was coming for us, figuratively and literally. I could feel my mind connect with the world, which worries me more. Maybe I just need... some... air. I began to walk downstairs to the living room, taking care in every step I made. I'm already tired enough, and the darkness doesn't help. I open the door outside, and step out. Every step feels frightening, yet familiar. Thoughts begin to swirl through my head, telling me things I wished not to hear. I'll be tested soon, you all will be put to the test, it kept coming, harder, better, faster, stronger.
At last, I stepped back into the cabin, and the words ceased to be spoken. Why
me, why now? The answer came to mind before another second passed. These trials, preparing us for what I saw coming, they're coming now. They can't be here for them, because they did them as well. I went to sleep, wanting to rest but avoiding what would come next. I need to tell them. All of them. Morning dawned, and I beckoned them all into the living room. "There are trials coming for each of us, the other Generation has done them before, it's why they couldn't tell us." I explained. "But, why wouldn't they tell us?" Shelby asked, but I had a feeling we all knew the answer. "They weren't allowed to. They're sworn to secrecy for some reason. One thing is for sure. Each of us all have our own, unique trial. Voices in my head when I went outside wouldn't stop pestering me about it. My guess is, they start tomorrow." I continued on. "So, let's prep for them. After all, if we're not ready for torture, we won't be ready for the final battle when it comes." Adam proposed, earning a nod from each of us. Let the torture emerge, beginning once again.
