Ashlie's POV-
I have no idea what trial is going to await me, however, I am intrigued to see what my Forbidden Holder intends to throw at me. After all, none of these trials have been very predictable, and the ones that were threw the concepts into new directions entirely. This whole experience has certainly caught my attention. I intend to see what I can expand on with my powers and with my potential. I don't know exactly what they may use against me, but I have a few guesses at their intentions. My power has less limits than the others, since Spell applies to multiples things, so they will most likely not base my trial on a simple element, but rather, a concept itself. I await to see what challenges have been set for me inside of the open void. The powers of the Forbidden Holders are truly limitless, yet they send Elementals to battle for them. Why would they choose a tactic like that? Maybe it is to instill balence, or maybe there are other motivations behind it besides simply eradicating the enemy. When this is over, I would love to speak to the Forbidden Holders and gain answers to all of my questions, but is now really the time? It never was. There is a battle coming for us, and when it happens, I will be ready for whatever nasty tricks the Masterminds have set up for us all.Kyria's POV-
"Hello child! I am Kyria of Belief, and I am pleased to be acquainted with you." I said to her, waving to her as I appeared. "Why have you sent us to fight a battle for you?" She asked of me, cutting right to the chase. I like her already! "Dear child, it is not as simple as fighting a battle for us. I believe the world always has a need for heros such as yourselves, but also, we are not allowed to interfere with your world unless it is truly necessary. We may be the Gods of the world, but we try to just sit back and watch what will happen, unless something requires our attention." I explained to her. She nodded back to me, and I could tell she understood my explanation. She is clearly a girl of many questions, which isn't necessarily a bad trait to have. After all, what is life without answers? Questioning life's meaning and rules is a stressful topic that most people dodge when they can, as it tends to stress them out and force them into situations they are uncomfortable with. There is so much to learn from the world if you were to only sit back and watch for a moment. It may be a difficult process to explore, but there is always room for answers in the realm of possibility, even if they may not be so simple. I wish to learn them all by watching over the ones granted eternal power.Third Person POV-
She refused to look back to the others for guidance. Instead, she stepped in immediately, wondering what trial was to befall her. The man standing in front of her was not someone she could simply recognize, but from guessing, she had figured it out. It was her father, but could she really call him that? After all, he had abandoned both of them. Her mother had died, and because he left, she was stranded on her own with no guidance. She would curse his name if she could. However, she took a breath, and tried to look at it from a different perspective. Why had he left her and her mother, and for what purpose? There must be some reasoning behind what he did. No father would leave behind his wife and child unless he had a great reason to do so. So, what was the reason? She wasn't sure what it could be. But, she had to find out, to clear her mind, as well as to accept what had happened. He can't have been working with the Masterminds, right? No, that can't be right. From the stories her mother had told about her father, that didn't sound like something he would do at all. But, she found out the truth. The unfortunate, ugly truth. Her father had been fighting against the Masterminds underlings to protect her mother and herself, and in the process had been captured as a prisoner. But, could she save him? No, as the vision showed, he had been executed.Ashlie's POV-
It can't be right! He can't just be dead, can he? It would explain too many things, but not in a way I want. I may not have known much about him, but that didn't mean I just wanted him dead. The only way to clear this up was with revenge. I found the underlings counting coins in one of the alleyways from a shop they had robbed just moments ago. It was them, I was sure of it. Worst of all, they had the store keeper as a hostage. I'm not going to let them get away with hurting someone like this again. I summoned my staff, flinging fireballs toward them. They sneered and dodged them, thinking that I had nothing else up my sleeve. How wrong could they possibly be? Someone with powers like mine has many different tactics they can switch to during battle. I opted for tracking arrows next, which they tried to escape from, but in the end, they were pinned. I allowed the man to escape, but I won't let these guys off with nothing. To make sure they wouldn't hurt anyone else, I reported them to the authorities to assure they would never harm again. That is vengeance, my father, and your daughter is the queen of it. I will not let more people be harmed by the ill will. Instead, I will float above them like a goddess, and seal their intentions from where they stand.Ḫ̴̫̟̯̘̉̂͛̌͒ḭ̵̟͉̾͒͐͗̈́̀d̵̛̤͔͈͖̝̐̊͐́̕̕͜͝ͅi̵͈͚̩͚͉̩̇́̀͂͐̐͝n̸̛̩͎͎͔̤̓̉̐̄͜͝g̵̲̥̰͇̅̊́̈̊̊
