10 children walked into the room. "You don't have to hide your eyes, I already know that you're crying." A girl with purple eyes said. I wiped my eyes and stood up. "You all arrived at once, that's good." I said. At that moment I could already tell who had the light magic. "You remind me a bit of my wife." I exclaimed, facing her. "Where is she?" The boy, I think with Animal magic, asked. "Gone. Not for long, but enough time to be bad. But that's beside the point. What are your names?" I asked. "Dawn." The animal boy said. "Shelby." The light girl said. "Cory." The death boy said, just nodding. So much like me already. (You know what, you know most of these people, so I'm skipping to Kitty as the last one for sake of time.) "My name is Kitty. Pleased to meet you." Kitty said.
Kitty's POV-
All of the group said their power listed. Cory as Death, Shelby as Light, Ross as Earth, Alesa as Fire, Adam as Wind, Ashlie as Spell, Nick as Water, Max as Electricity, and Dawn as Animals. "What is yours?" Shelby asked me, as she held her power up. I held my hand near her power and made a exact copy. "Try me! Try me!" Adam said, very enthusiastic by the looks of it. I held my hand out towards his and did the same thing as I did with Shelby. "Mimic I see. That magic will be a hard one to master, sense you'll have to rely on the others for offensive magic." Jason explained, obviously an expert. "What's yours?" I said. "Death. Just like Cory's." He replied.
