Jen's POV-
Cory took Shelby back to where she and Kitty were talking before so she would be safe and out of the action. Meanwhile, Kitty said she'd watch over her to make sure nothing bad happened while she was out. Releasing a sigh of relief, it was back to the drawing board for the next people to fight. What could possibly go crazy with the next pair? It's time to find out, I guess. After all, we can't just stop now with being able to learn more about the secondary powers. Jess and Jason were jotting things down about each fight and how everything played out for them. They always tended to take the leadership role for the group, although with Generation 2 the leader could be different elements. It's all up to the personality of the person who holds the power, right? "Alesa, Max, you guys are the next to fight!" I yelled suddenly, while I saw Shelby snap out of her sleep from the corner of my eye. Kitty was mouthing questions to her I couldn't make out, probably asking if she was okay, to which Shelby responded with a thumbs up. At least they seem to be fine.

Alesa's POV-
I don't want to fight Max! He's the most hotheaded member of the group! Plus, I'd rather not get fried to a crisp today. However, I'm not going to back down from a bit of a challenge. Let's put my imagination to work! Fire appears above both of my palms, while Max's eyes seemed to glow with an yellow hue. I summoned my weapon to try and get him with it, while sending the fire balls towards him. He quickly raised his hands up, then down, having multiple lighting bolts barely two inches away from frying my to a crisp. Frustration started to pour out of me from Max dodging too quickly. He managed to leave a small cut on my arm with his weapon. I felt myself changing in a way I couldn't understand. He tried to strike me, but it went straight through me. Wait, through me?! The sudden surprise brought my control to a screeching halt. My eyes were black as obsidian and my body was loosing colors with this translucent look. I clasped my hands together, in a instant, nine clones of me surrounded Max, all of us ready to give a deadly blow. How do I stop this?!

Max's POV-
I was trying to carefully analyze which copy was real, both annoyed and scared by this fight. No matter how hard I tried to look though, it felt impossible to find a difference. Ross, who had been staying farther back then everyone because of my element, looked over. Sharp rocks came up, striking all the copies, revealing which one was really Alesa. With this opening, before she could react, I hit her down by precisely elbowing her in the face. I was careful to try and injure her as little as physically possible. "Thanks for the help Ross!" I said, thanking him for the assistance. "No problem, I wasn't about to let you die there." He replied. Everyone looked at the scene, either surprised, confused, or both. I can't say that I didn't feel the same. Alesa's ghost form literally came out of nowhere. Adam was checking on her, giving me a bit of a glare. I understand he's a bit mad, but this was self-defense dude! Shelby came over to heal the injuries on Alesa, but I chose to go and sit with the others, preparing to watch the next fight.
