Blinded By Evil Intent (Part 4)

Author's POV-
    Your prayers have been answered and I have brought you the fourth and final part to Blinded By Evil Intent. Enjoy the chapter! Have fun seeing if you got it and found where the clue was. At the end of the chapter, I'll say where the clue was and why certain things happened at certain times. Now, to stop making you bored of this author note, I now present the next POV! (Also, sorry, this chapter may be a bit short compared to the last one.)

Cory's POV-
    We have to save Shelby! Her whole look had completely changed. Her dress was black and red instead of what would be white. Her crown seemed it's opposite. It looks like, unlike the others, she's fallen deepest into the corruption. She was grinning, but tears were slipping down her face. Why does that seem so familiar? (Yes, I had to reference A Soul So Broken too, technically this could be Genocide Dreams also... Whatever, I'll just keep writing!) "Come on, Shelby, I know you don't want to do this." I said. "Don't want to do this? I'm just getting started!" She said, I have to admit, the fight that took place next was the hardest one I've had yet. She quickly summoned her sword and came after me. I summoned my scythe and blocked her attack, then she lunged at me again. There's no way hugging will work, she'll hit me first, besides, her curse seems stronger than the others. I dodged her attack by jumping up, and pointed my scythe. I was being very careful to not hit her, I just, can't... I came up with a stupid idea. I don't like having to do this, but I have to. For her. I walked closer towards her. "What do you think you're doing? You can't save her... I mean, you can't save me! Why even try?!" "Shelby" said. "Because..." I said, as I got closer. "...I love her." I whispered. She seemed to be fighting against the curse, when it seemed like she gained some control...

                        I kissed her...

                          "...Cory?"

(Sorry about how short this one is, but that's the conclusion to this four part capture! In the next chapter, they'll be on the way back. Near the end of the riddle, when she spat out more lines, if you looked at the first letter of each one, it spelled out Shelby. She was the one who gave the hints! The one trapped inside her own head, I mean. Also, as an extra hint, I posted it at 8:20, as I said I would. I did that because Shelby's birthday is that day, but instead of posting it that day, I made it a time. Sorry that I posted this late, something came up, and I couldn't post it then.)
