A New Pal, But An Old Friend

Tiffany's POV-
    All of the adults were chatting in the living room. It was late at night, but not so late as to us being asleep. "Where do you think all of the guys are?" Jess asked, trying to get the subject on board. "That's a good question, I haven't heard from them in a while." I replied. I've really missed my husband Mario. I haven't seen him sense everyone got captured. "From what I've heard, and this is just a theory, Mario didn't get captured like the rest of us, however, I have no idea where he is. As for Matthew, Joel, and Patrick, I'm pretty sure the others were captured by the Masterminds." Stephanie muttered, clearly shaken up by Matpat being missing. One of the children from the second generation popped up. His power happened to be Death. "What's up Cory?" Jason asked, his usual knowledgeable look replaced with concern. "It's Kitty and Dawn. I haven't seen them anywhere." He replied. Not even a couple seconds after, Dawn bursted through the door. "Kitty got captured!!!" He said, overwhelmed by fear.

Jen's POV-
    Everyone in the base was aroused into a bit of a panic. For the members of Generation 1, someone being captured was nothing new, although it was critical to have all of us safe. However, for Generation 2, they have never been captured without one another, so they aren't used to someone being missing. Although this was the case, we weren't left in fear for long, as a slightly wounded and exhausted Kitty burst through the door. Mario stepped out from behind her. "I'm back!" He yelled, shocking the entire crew. Tiffany ran up and hugged him, then again, they have been apart for a while. Kitty and Dawn were quietly talking about how she made it out okay. "Kitty, what's that?" He asked. "Oh, the cat? It's a purple cat that, along with Mario, helped me out of there. I call her Shadow." She explained. "Kitty, that's not just any strange cat, that's your familiar..." Jess said.
