Max's POV-
I'm so pumped for this! I can tell I'm next, because it's just us two left. I'm not surprised at all that they left her for last. After all, if any of us are difficult and have potential at all, it's her. That's not a problem though, I'm so ready for this! The others were chatting with each other, undoubtedly discussing their battles and experiences they had during their trials. If there's any chance to let out some steam from everything that has happened, it's this! Though, thinking about it, the battle is so close now. After us, who knows when it could be? We never were confirmed with when it would happen, so we're all just biding our time until the Masterminds try to wage war. At least that gives us time to prepare ourselves, though it also gives them the exact same opportunity for themselves. I wonder what's in store for me with my trial, as they have all played off of unexpected parts of us so far. What is destined for me? I'm not sure, but whatever it is, I'm ready for it! I will show that trial who's the real boss, then I'll come back here safe. I'm ready for anything they can throw at me! After all, I've dealt with every one here for so long, I can withstand any challenge as long as I focus. I can't wait to see what will happen here with me.

Gillas's POV-
"Hello there Max. You seem just as bold as when you arrived here so long ago. I am Gillas of Betrayel, and I will be the one who presents you your trial." He said to me. Betrayel? That's a bit of a curveball. I wasn't expecting someone known for betrayel to train me. I can only hope that he does this fairly instead of throwing in some impossible task. "Oh, do not worry Max, I do not intend to betray or even harm you in any way during this trial, there is no reason to worry." He reassured me. I'm not exactly sure if I trust him, but it's not exactly like I have much of a choice. I have to be ready for anything he will give me, no matter how severe it ends up being. The others made it out of their trials, so I should hopefully be okay. Ross seemed nervous, but I looked back at him with a grin to calm him down. He always worries for me. I will make sure that there is nothing to worry about during this trial for him. It wouldn't be fair. Gillas seemed to look back at me with pride. I can tell he was already set on me from the beginning. Oh well, time to prove that I was a worthy choice for him. The empty void beckoned to me, awaiting me to enter for my trial. With false confidence, I entered my newly created challenge.

Third Person POV-
Somethings get a little too hectic. In fact, that seemed to be the center piece of this entire trial. This trial was showing what the Forbidden Holders had to handle, seeing everything and watching everything happen, all at the same time. It was too much of everything. It was overwhelming for him at the very least. Sure, the life of an Elemental isn't very structured, but for as many stressful days as they get, there are also calm ones where they could just talk and hang out for a while. In this place, it was nothing but stress. He could hear everything happening around him, almost as if the voices were talking on top of each other, getting louder. They seemed to meld into one voice the more it continued. He had to stop all of the worthless noise that was going on around him in order to concentrate. He was losing his mind in there. How do you quiet voices you can't see, or help people you can't hear? It all seemed so confusing as he watched the chaos happen before him. There were always ways out of stressful situations, he just needed to calm down, ot breathe for a second. But, he couldn't. Everything he heard was so fast and so loud, and he was unsure of how to process it all at once. He couldn't take in everything at one time. So, this is what they deal with? They see and hear every problem around them at once.

Max's POV-
I had summoned my lightning, having it strike down all around me. The only way to fight fire is with fire, so the only way to beat noise is with more noise. Or so I thought. I could never imagine hearing everything at once all of the time. I don't understand how they manage it all everyday. They listen to all the voices at once and somehow understand every command and reaction, while I cannot understand any of the noise happening around me. It's loud, yet also muffled. I can hear it all, which is causing me to hear none of it. I need to speak up, find my voice in all the chaos. That is the only way I'll win, the only way we'll all win. "Would you all just shut up and listen to me?!" I screamed into the filled yet empty void. Suddenly, the noise stopped. I could breathe again, hear myself again. I could listen to myself once again. I can't always silence the people who need to speak, but I can silence the pointless noise. The Masterminds are the pointless noise that must be silenced. They can't be listened to anymore, or none of us will have any hope. We must be able to teach society to cover their ears against the nonsense and ignore it. Even if it doesn't always work, it's better than listening to pointless noise endlessly until nothing is left of you. I need to remain here, regardless of the noise.
