Chapter 3

It is now Friday morning and I got a text from Jacques saying he's on his way. I'm getting dress na with a simple ripped skinny jeans with a white off shoulder ruffle chic na crop top. I wore my white chucks converse when my phone went off, it was Jacques calling to let me know he's parked outside.

He was sitting sa hood ng car nya, holding a cup of coffee and one single rose. He gave it to me,

"A cup of coffee and a flower to start your day." He smiled at me and went to the passenger door to open it for me. I told you he's a gentleman. I thanked him and got inside the car, he did the same and we are off to school.

I was looking at the window when Jacques spoke.

"You look beautiful this morning." I turned to him and he was looking at me with a smile on his face, as usual.

"Only this morning?" I joked.

"No, I mean you're beautiful every day and any time of the day." he quickly said.

I chuckled.

"I'm kidding." I smiled at him and he chuckled lightly.

Nakarating din kami sa school and I saw Blair getting out of her car as well. Jacques got out of the car and went to my side to open the car door. I went out and Blair immediately saw me, bakas sa mukha nya ang pag ka bigla with her mouth slightly forming an O shape. I gave her a warning look so she would stop, she did. But almost everyone is looking at our direction, this is why I was hesitant to let Jacques pick me up because I know that it will attract way too much attention.

"Good morning to the both of you. Hey gorgeous" Blair greeted us as she planted a kiss on my cheek.

"Good morning din Blair." bati pabalik ni Jacques sakanya. We walked together inside the campus on our way to our lockers. Hindi parin na aalis ang tingin ng mga tao saamin. To both me and Jaques specifically. I placed the flower inside my locker and grabbed the things I need for my first class, which reminded me that it's Miss Ruiz's class. I suddenly grew excited, but why?

Nag lakad na kami towards our room for first subject with Jacques and Blair sa mag kabilaang side ko. Nang makarating kami, naunang pumasok si Blair at sumunod ako with Jacques behind me. I can feel a certain someone's eyes on me, so I looked up and saw Miss Ruiz looking at me indeed, she quickly glanced at Jacques and went back to look at me with what seems to be like an angry expression. I'm not sure though, because that how she normally looks.

All three of us took our seat and she began her discussion. I took this time to check her out, she's wearing a burgundy pant suit na may suot na black silky spaghetti strap cowl neck na pang loob. Kaya naman mejo kita and dibdib nito. Miss Ruiz as a whole, looks like someone who always wants to get the upper hand, and it shows.

"Are you even listening to me?" I snapped out of it ng marinig ko syang mag salita in front of me, arms crossed. Halatang inis ito, she can choke me right now and I would still thank her. Eww what am I even thinking? This is getting out of hand.

"Sorry, I was lost in my thoughts." sagot ko bago pa ito mainis lalo.

"On what? Thoughts on what? And in my class? Really?" sunod sunod na tanong nito. Hindi ako naka imik. Baka naman ma baliw ka pag sinabi ko kung anong nasa isip ko. I thought to myself.

"Stay after class" she lastly said before going back in front of the class and resumed her discussion. I shook my head in frustration, I feel like a bad student.

"Hey is everything alright? These past few days, you're always zoning out." Blair worriedly asked.

"Yeah, I'll see you later." I responded back, I can see that she's still worried. She nodded and walked to the door, waiting for Jacques, who's looking at me.
