"This is not a place to chitchat. Get it moving" she said in the coldest and most emotionless voice.
Because of these mixed emotions, I grabbed Alisson's hand and tugged her along with me. Luckily, she did not question it and just went away with me.
We reached the gymnasium with me still holding her hand. I am out of breath from all the running that we did. Parang hindi ko na kailangan mag warm up sa ginawa ko.
Binaling ko ang atensyon ko sa babaeng kanina kopa kinakaladkad. I felt bad for her dahil sa ginawa ko.
Napansin kong naka tingin ito sa kamay namin na kanina pa magka hawak. And because I thought that she might find it weird, I abruptly removed my hand from hers.
"Im so sorry, are you okay?" Pauna ko. Pero hindi ito agad naka sagot.
"Oh um yes, yes Im fine" mabilis na sagot nito ng mapansin na hinihintay ko syang sumagot.
"Can I get you a bottle of water? It's the least that I can do" I asked her.
"Uhm no, its okay. I need to go to my team anyway. Thank you though." Sagot nya. She's looking everywhere except to me.
I asked her again to make sure and she said that it's fine.
"Okay then. Enjoy the event" I smiled at her and she did that same. We walked our separate ways and I headed to the cafeteria.
My mind flew back to what Miss Garcia told me earlier. She said that someone was waiting for me outside her class. Naka limutan ko yon dahil sa kalandian ko.
I was shook back to reality when someone tapped my shoulder.
It was Jacques.
"Ang lalim naman ng iniisip mo. Baka naman malunod ka dyan ha." Biro nito sakin
"How long have you been standing there?" Tanong ko sakanya.
"Long enough to see you get lost on your thoughts." Balik nito sakin.
"Something's bothering you?" He continued
"Nothing" sagot ko
"Did you wait for me after my last class?" Tanong ko sakanya.
"Uh n-no. Why'd you ask?" Utal na sagot nya. I looked at him carefully and his gaze shifted to the floor.
"Hmm. Nothing, Miss Garcia told me someone was waiting for me outside. I was a bit pre occupied to remember that. I just replayed that memory and was wondering why they left." I said explaining to him
"W-well maybe s-something came up and they h-had to go."
Bakit ba to nauutal. Nahihirapan ako para sakanya
"Are you okay?" I asked him. He doesn't usually stutter anymore around me
