"N-no" I uttered
She turned to me with a questioning look on her face
"You don't want to meet them?" tanong niya sa mapang husgang tono
Duh of course I want to, nakaka inis lang dahil ipapa kilala niya ako ng ganito suot ko. Eh mukha akong pulubi pag naka tabi sakanya
"Of course, I want to. But why on earth would you bring me there looking like this?" I said gesturing to my outfit
She scoffed like as if it was my fault that she came up with this decision
"You shouldn't have told me we are not together for me gatekeep you from people" she reasoned out
Anong klaseng reason 'yon? I know I said that to tease her pero it's true, although I don't have any type of intention of flirting with someone else if it wasn't her
"Seriously, Victoria?" I asked in disbelief, I honestly don't know what's going through her brain. Like, her mind functions very differently
"Yes, and I am bringing you to meet my parents to formally introduce you to them"
Oo nga pala, I met her parents already but it was brief. That was the time nung nag beach kami and we bumped into her family sa resort
"Oh yeah, I nearly forgot how you nearly shoo me away when we bumped into them" I sarcastically remarked which earned me an iconic eye roll
We soon pulled up on a driveway. It's not your typical urban houses, I think we are in a rural area. The driveway was long and it's surrounded with fruit bearing trees, it was a massive estate and the house in the middle was like an old-fashioned design but has been touched by modern and futuristic architecture
It technically looks like a ranch or hacienda whatever you want to call it, but it was massive.
The car stopped and the engine went off, I felt my nerves coming back again my hands are literally shaking and my knees are like jell-o
She took off her seatbelt and went out, Victoria made her way to my side and opened the door for me pero naka hawak lang ako sa strap ng seatbelt at para bang ayaw bumama
"Don't tell me you're chickening out? Pussy"
My jaw dropped at her comment, especially the last part which she emphasized too much putting so much pressure on the word while there was a sly smirk playing on her lips
"Never call me that" I warned as she responded with an eye roll
