"Krystal Vonne Reilly, I dare you to marry me"

I couldn't talk as I am way too choked up by surprise and happiness. All of my frustrations were thrown out of the drain seeing her on bended knees

Suddenly, I felt so light

All I could do was nod as tears flooded my eyes, she stood up and took the ring out of the box. I held out my shaking left hand, she struggled to put the ring in because she's shaking as well. She was able to put it in and pulled me for a kiss.

It was so passionate, and it seems as though we are alone kissing under the starry sky. Everything in the background became blur and it felt as if it's just the two of us. I was never big on unions and all that holy matrimony, but she's always an exception. Spending the rest of my life with her is something I desire the most.

She pulled away and rested her forehead against mine, slightly breathless from the kiss we shared.

Cupping both of my cheeks before she spoke

"Despite all the fine things I have in life, you were and still are the best thing that happened in my life."

She confessed with a soft and genuine smile on her face. My heart is so full right now that I could explode from happiness.

"I love you my Ice Queen"

She playfully rolled her eyes

"I love you too petty ass" she joked

Laglag panga akong humiwalay sakaniya

"I am petty? Honey, that's your first name" I bit back

Ako pa talagang petty, eh sya nga sobrang selosa baka nga pati hawakan kong bagay pag selosan niya eh.

She was about to say something when Veronica beat her to it

"Kaka engaged niyo lang baka naman mag away nanaman kayo eh sa pareho lang kayong petty" pang aasar niya na ikina tawa ng lahat

I was snatched away from Victoria when Blair pulled me in for a bear hug

"I am so happy for you Krystal. Someone finally managed to tie you down"

True, I am not a commitment type of person. I couldn't count how many times I went out on dates with different people, but I did not do relationship back then. But Victoria is like a forbidden apple, you know it is forbidden for numbers of reasons but something about her pulls me in even more

I guess, we human beings are just wired the same way. We crave something that's not made for us to consume, and it creates sweet chaos like the comforting sound of the rain patters against the roof, that's probably why storms were named after people.
