The Ball of Balls

Chapter 38

Taytay and Charlotte appeared on a pathway with lots of little huts and everywhere walked smurfs. It has been a long time since Taytay was here, so he was happy that he teleported to the right place. Charlotte pointed at a few smurfs and and shouted: ''How cuuuuute!''

''Uhm, hello,'' Taytay said to a bypassing smurf. ''Have you seen a fairy and a blonde boy? They kinda look alike.''

''You must mean Yannick and his new boyfriend, Dean. I have seen them! We are so happy that Yannick is back! Weehoo!'' the smurf jumped in the air.

''Yes, I meant them. Do you know where they are?'' Taytay asked.

''They are in that little house over there,'' the smurf answered, before happily skipping away.

''Come!'' Charlotte pulled Richard's arm and walked in front of Taytay towards the house. The house was very small and Charlotte and Taytay looked at eachother like 'Huh, does that fit?'. When Charlotte opened the door, she saw that Dean and Yannick stood just a little bit too close and Taytay found that very awkward.

They shrunk as much as the rest of the smurfs. Dean and Yannick startled because of the big faces that stood in the doorway.

''Hi!'' Charlotte greeted them happily.

''PRIVACY!'' Dean shouted and he ran towards the door to close it.

Charlotte held her hand against the door to keep it open. Taytay said with his hands in front of his eyes: ''Dean, I need your help.''

''What is going on again? I haven't even been gone an hour. Richard, from the moment that I gave you your assignment it has only been 'Dean help this', 'Dean help that'! I am done with you!''

''But Miles is in danger! He is held captive in the castle! There are strong knights that guard him!'' Taytay says desperately.

''Strong knights?'' Yannick asked curiously.

''Hey!'' Dean gave Yannick a strict look, but then said: ''What happened?''

''The ring is destroyed and Robert seemed to be bad, but I just want for Miles and Robert to get together. That's my goal in the end.''

''Miles has got a magical rose, can't you make anything work with that?''

''Yes, but right now that's a little difficult, because HE IS NOW BOUND IN A BALLROOM, SO CAN YOU PLEASE COME WITH ME BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN BUSY ALL DAY AND I WANT TO GO TO BED SOMETIME TOO!'' Taytay screamed in frustration. Nobody seemed to be affected by his screaming.

''Well then...'' Dean teleported everyone back to the castle garden.
