The map led Rey and Miles through the forest to a cave. The cave didn't have a small entrance, so without a map they probably wouldn't have found it. Rey and Miles went inside. The only light came through the small opening in the cave and the rest was completely dark.
Next to the entrance stood a basket with unlit torches. Miles grabbed a lucifer from his pocket and lit a torch. Rey and Miles could now see that the space was quite large and that there was a small corridor deeper into the cave.
''Something stinks,'' Miles said and he covered his nose and mouth with the sleeve of his hoodie.
''I just farted a little,'' Taytay said, who just appeared behind Miles. Rey and Miles turned around in surprise.
Rey looked at Taytay with a scathing look.
''Ew Richard, are you nervous or something?'' Miles asked.
''No, I have eaten too many beans,'' Taytay responded not convincingly.
''How did you find us?'' Rey asked, slightly annoyed.
''I have planted a tracker in Miles's arm,'' Taytay said doubtfully and he regretted instantly that he said that.
''A FUCKING WHAT?'' Miles screamed. It echoed through the cave. Miles felt his arms looking for the tracker.
''Miles, listen to me, I have information that I really need to-'' Taytay started, but Miles interrupted him by yelling: ''GET THAT TRACKER OUT!''
Rey took a good look at Miles's arms and she saw a little bump just beneath his elbow. She walked towards Miles and said: ''I see it.'' With a quick movement she made a small cut with her sword in Miles's arm and got the tracker from underneath Miles's skin. Miles screamed in pain. Taytay puked a little from this sight.
''Now we are finally rid of you, bye bye,'' Rey said and she pushed Taytay on the ground before running into the cave with Miles. The sound of Taytay's crying was hearable in the background while Rey and Miles explored the corridors of the cave.
Miles stopped a bit farther into the cave and lit the wall with his torch. A five pointed star with a circle around it was depicted on the cave wall.
''Looks like a devil's trap,'' Rey said, while studying the image. ''But normally it would be painted on the ground or on the ceiling so that you can trap a satanic creature.''
Miles was a little surprised by this information, but then held the torch a bit lower. ''Oh, look! There is something written underneath: 'Find the five artifacts, that are hidden in this cave, and put them in place.''
Above the circle there were vague instructions about the placement of the artifacts, but Rey and Miles didn't get a lot of time to study them because suddenly boulders fell down upon them. The room started spinning and Miles tried to cover his head in panic.
Rey fell over, but sat straight quickly. Miles lay on the ground and stood up to hold his torch up. The devil's trap was no longer on the wall, but was now visible on the ground beneath them.
A torch lit up a little bit deeper into the cave. Miles helped Rey stand up and said: ''Look! There is light!''
The corridor was blocked with boulders, but Rey and Miles dug a way through. And like that, they went further into the cave, with full confidence.
