The Ball of Balls

Chapter 48

It was noisy in the chapel. Everyone got changed and looked properly, Dean had helped with that of course. Robert was waiting impatiently at the altar and sighed deeply. Dean stood in the middle, with a little book in his hands and saw how nervous Robert was. Dean patted him on his shoulder.

Miles came into the chapel with a bouquet of flowers in his hands and everyone turned around. He wore a white suit, with a light blue and pink bow tie.

''You look beautiful,'' Robert whispered.

''Thanks, Robert, you too,'' Dean said before starting his speech. ''Welcome everyone. We have come together, here, today to see this beautiful creature, Muzzy Miles, marry this handsome prince, Robert. After a long adventure in the Forest of Trees, a dark cave and many enemies, Miles had finally arrived at the Ball of Balls, which was already completely ruined by monsters. Although this day, well, it's now the next day, didn't go as planned, this adventure did end magically. Miles has found his true love and Robert has found his redemption. These two are made for each other and shall rule the Land of Winchats as king and queen.'' Robert and Miles looked at each other with joy.

''Muzzy Miles Marcus Fullblood, do you take Robert Klaas Jan Huntelaar as your lawfully wedded husband?''

''Yes,'' Miles said with full confidence.

''Robert Pete Bob Verstappen, do you take Miles Casino Pokertable as your lawfully wedded husband?''

''Yes,'' Robert said, while trying not to laugh.

''Then... Can I hear a drum roll? I pronounce you... husband... and... Miles!'' Dean shouted and everyone started applauding loudly. Robert kissed Miles intensely, but Miles thought it was awkward because so many people were watching.

They walked out of the room. Outside stood a beautiful purple-pink-blue carriage waiting for them. They stepped in and drove away.

Back in the chapel Dean shouted: ''Then I will now call Richard forward! Taytay! Come here!''

Taytay stood up shyly and walked up to Dean.

''Even though you weren't always that smart, always needed my help, you harassed everyone, tripped over everything and the adventure wasn't very easy for you, you made it happen. I am semi-proud of you. Just kidding, I am VERY proud of you! And because of that, I can finally name you a full fairy!'' Dean conjured up two fairy wings for Taytay. Taytay smiled awkwardly but then looked around proudly.

''And now, we party!'' Samantha and Charlotte shouted in unison and everyone went wild. Dean arranged the music and Taytay conjured up balloons, floating around in the air. And like that, everyone partied until the night fell. Rey danced spastically with Jacob and Yolanda, Dean danced with Yannick, Charlotte and Lewis learned ballroom dancing from Samantha, Barbara Bushtroll drank a beer with Mark, Fleur and Isaac, and Miles and Robert indulged themselves in other activities, if you know what I mean.

Afterwards everyone said goodbye to each other and they walked back to their warm houses.

And Miles ruled the land with full confidence and they lived happily ever after.
