In the ballroom Rey, Miles and Barbara Bushtroll all heard noise from the hallway.
''What's happening outside? Do I hear people stride?'' Barbara Bushtroll said.
''Can't you form normal sentences?'' Miles said irritably.
''That's because my species as a troll, you asshole!''
''Just shut your pie hole, I am going mental! OH NO, NOW I'M DOING IT TOO!'' Miles held his hands in front of his mouth out of shock.
''Where is our help? Taytay is the most incompentent fairy ever!'' Rey said impatiently.
''But really,'' Miles said. Suddenly a door swung open. A few knights entered the ballroom through a side entrance with Robert, who was struggling: ''Let me go!''
Robert was put on a chair next to Miles and the knights bound him to the chair.
After the knights had left the ballroom through the same entrance Miles asked: ''What the fuck are you doing here?''
''Everything's going up in flames...'' Robert said sadly.
''Did King Wade send you here?'' Miles asked suspiciously.
''Yes....'' Robert answered. ''He wanted the ring. He organized everything. He doesn't need us anymore now that the ring is gone.''
''He doesn't need us? Why are we bound then and not murdered?'' Rey asked.
''I have no idea. He only tells me what I need to do, but I have ruined that... and I am just a pile of garbage.'' Robert answered.
''What we had... Was that acting? Did Wade tell you to?'' Miles asked doubtfully, but hopefully. Before Robert could answer, Taytay, Dean, Yannick and Charlotte appeared next to them in the ballroom.
''Luckily, there are no knights in front of the door anymore!'' Taytay said happily.
''Wait, so you didn't know for sure whether or not it would be safe to teleport here?'' Dean asked, a little bit angrily. Taytay looked at the ground in shame.
''Just look at him. He can't defeat any knights,'' Charlotte said. Taytay looked hurt, but once he looked in Charlotte's blue eyes, he blushed.
''And that makes it clear that he doesn't deserve his fairy diploma yet,'' Dean said.
''We will together be sledding and in a few days is a wedding!'' Barbara Bushtroll said out of nothing.
''Ooh! Who's?'' Taytay, Charlotte, Miles, Dean and Yannick said simultaneously. Miles was disappointed that Robert didn't ask this question. But what Miles didn't know was that Robert had gotten a silver ring from his mother and hid it in his pocket.
''Are you going to free us or what?'' Robert asked irritably. Everyone gave him a weird look.
''But of course...'' Charlotte said, while bending forward just a bit too much.
''WHY SHOULD WE FREE HIM?'' Yannick shouted way too loud.
''Because he isn't really evil, he was forced by king Wade!'' Miles said way too quickly.
''King Wade?'' Dean asked.
Miles, Rey, Barbara Bushtroll and Robert were freed by Taytay and Charlotte. Miles stretched his arms and sweaty armpits were visible.
''I see what Robert sees in him,'' Taytay said, very serious.
''Why did you need me?'' Dean asked.
''Uhm...'' Taytay looked at Charlotte, but before he could finish his sentence, Samantha ran into the ballroom. And a bigger group of knights followed her.
''For that?'' Taytay answered Dean's question. Dean rolled his eyes and turned the knights into caterpillars.
''Does one of you know what these keys are for?'' Samantha asked, out of breath, while holding keys next to her head.
''Those are from my father's room in the attic,'' Robert answered. ''And that will be our next step.''
''What next step?'' Miles asked with full confidence.
