Chapter 45

Wade arrived in a ballroom full of caterpillars. Full of disbelief about the intruders escaping, he called all his knights together. Wade now stood in front of a big group of knights, who assembled in the ballroom.

''How could this happen?!'' Wade asked furiously.

''They were freed by a fairy!'' a somewhat wider knight said. ''I watched it all happen. Some knights wanted to stop them, but were turned into caterpillars.''

''Those fools! Good, we don't have any time to spare. Find the intruders and if there is a troll between them, at least capture her.''

''But, your highness, they have just defeated an army of us! How can we ever defeat them?'' the same knight asked.

''Come on, Mark. Think about your training,'' Wade said.

''The training... haha... yes... that's true...'' Mark said, while he remembered not showing up.

''Well, go on, find the intruders!'' Wade commanded.

''Uhm, can I ask something?'' a gay knight with glasses asked.

''Yes, Jacob?''

''Well, where shall I begin? At first, we never ate lunch, so half of us are starving right now. And the last time we ate was not even today, but somewhere at the end of may,'' Jacob complained. Wade rolled his eyes.

''Lunch? It's half past three in the morning!'' king Wade shouted. ''If you want something to eat, you will get breakfast once you have found that fucking troll!''

''Found them!'' Mark said, while pointing at a small knight.

''I am not a troll!'' Zara shouted, while shoving her visor down.

''Wait a minute, a troll by the stairs I think I saw,'' a thicker knight with blue hair said.

''Demi, we speak normal English here, Demi,'' Wade said impatiently.

''But like Yoda, we like to speak!'' a ridder in elf cosplay said.

''SILENCE, CHRIS! I-'' But before the discussion could escalate, Chris and Demi were hit with arrows in their neck.

''LEWIS! WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT SHOOTING PEOPLE IN THE NECK?! AND PUT THE WINE AWAY, YOU HAVE TO HURRY!'' Wade shouted.

Lewis calmly sipped his wine and said: ''Chill, bitch... Just pour yourself a glass of wine.''

Wade became red of anger and flames came out of his hands.

''Wow, dude!'' Mark said. ''I didn't know that you could do that?''

''There is a lot that you don't know. So I don't want to see you all again before you've got me the troll!''

Afraid of being set on fire, all knights left, except for Lewis. Wade stood in front of Lewis and said: ''If you don't get out of my sight right now, I will feed you to the dogs.''

''Okaaay gurl,'' Lewis walked away like he was walking a catwalk. Somewhere around the corner, Yolanda watched the whole thing. A tear dropped down her cheek.
