Hwaa (Soojin x Fem Reader)

Part 7

Soojin's POV
As I was walking home, I started to feel drops of water fall onto my head. I put out my hand and realized it was raining.

"You gotta be kidding me..."

I started walking closer as I saw Cube come into my line of sight. I ran through the doors and slammed them behind me as the rain started to come down harder than before. My clothes were a little wet and that caused me to feel a bit chilly.

I walked towards the elevator and took them up to the floor my dorm was on. The elevator beeped and I stepped out, walking down the hallway to my dorm. I reached the door and grabbed the doorknob turning it until the door opened completely.

The first thing i was met with when i walked in was the feeling of someone's arms wrapping around mine.

"Soojin! Where did you go? You left so quickly!"

Realizing it was Shuhua, I just let her hug me, especially since I was so cold from my wet clothes sticking to my skin. But once she noticed how wet my clothes were from the rain, she stopped the hug and placed her arms back at her side.

"Is it raining? Why didn't you bring an umbrella?"

"I'll explain everything to you guys. I promise. But right now i'm tired and cold and i just want to shower. So how about you let me take a quick shower, change into some warm clothes, and then we can all talk."

Shuhua nodded her head and walked back to the living room while I started walking upstairs to my bathroom. After taking a warm shower and changing my clothes, I grabbed my phone to text Y/N. But she was probably asleep anyways.

I slowly walked down the stairs and peeked over the corner into the living room to see all my members sitting around. The foreign line was sitting on the couch facing the TV playing Mario Kart. And Miyeon and Soyeon were just watching them. Except Soyeon looked like she was working on something.

I knocked on the wall nearest to me to grab their attention and they all turned their heads at once. Shuhua stood up, placing her controller down and walked towards me, grabbing my hand.

"Guys, Soojin is gonna explain where she's been. So Soyeon, can you work on that later please?"

Soyeon just nodded her head and placed her phone down, putting all her attention on me. I sat down on the couch and Shuhua sat right next to me.

Miyeon groaned before I could start talking. "Please do this quickly. I'm exhausted and I just want to go to bed."

I nodded and started explaining everything that had happened. From the scary phone call I got from Y/N to calling the police. They widened their eyes as I explained more about what happened. After I was done, I leaned back and laid my head against the couch cushions, taking a deep breath in.

"And you didn't think to stay with her throughout the night? She's probably scared out of her mind right now!"

I blushed at what Minnie had said. Stay the night? No way. I don't want to make her uncomfortable even if it was a smart idea after what she had just experienced.

"I did think about it but i wasn't sure if it would make her uncomfortable or not."

Yuqi opened her mouth to speak but before she could, I felt my phone buzz in my hands. I flipped it over to see I was getting a call from Y/N. Without hesitation, I answered the phone call quickly. She was speaking fast and I could barely understand her so I stood up and walked to a different room.

"Hey hey, slow down. You're talking too fast."

I heard her take a shaky breath over the phone before she started talking again.

"I'm really scared, Soojin. What if he comes again? I can't sleep."

I just stayed quiet for a bit not knowing what to say or how to respond. Maybe my members were right. Maybe i should just stay the night with her. I mean she already seems to feel comfortable around me.

"Do you...do you want me to come over? Stay the night with you?"

She was quiet for a bit and I worried I made her uncomfortable by saying that. Until she answered.

"Yes please. I would like that. A lot."

A smile crept up on my face as she said that, her soft words traveling into my ears made butterflies explode in my stomach.

"Ok. I will be there in a few."

I hung up and went back into the living room, where the members were anxiously waiting for me to return.

"I'm gonna go over and stay the night with her. She's really scared and can't sleep."

They all just nodded at me, and I turned around to head back upstairs and grab my umbrella since it was raining still. I also grabbed an extra hoodie for me since it was probably gonna get cold tonight too.

After I was ready to go, I went downstairs and stopped in front of the door. I turned around to see the lights off. The members probably already went to their rooms to sleep. I opened the door and walked out into the hall, closing it softly behind me.
—time skip—
I arrived at Y/N's apartment and knocked on the door loud enough so she would be able to hear. Just in case she didn't hear, I texted her too. A few seconds later, the door opened, revealing Y/N standing there.

Her cheeks were stained with dried up tears, her eyes were red and her hair was a mess. I also noticed how she was shaking a little bit too. The way she looked at me made me realize how she was feeling and I wrapped my arms around her neck pulling her into a hug. She softly wrapped her arms around me and didn't say anything.

But she was so tired that her arms started to slip down, closer and closer to my waist. I blushed at the feeling. But I retracted from the hug and looked at her, sympathy in my eyes.

"Let's get you to bed."

I grabbed her hand softly, and took her upstairs into her room. She was still in the same clothes from earlier when i was here so i decided to help her change. I walked over to her closet and grabbed a clean shirt and some clean pajama pants. I handed them to her and she walked into the bathroom closing the door behind her.

I was already in my pajamas so I just sat myself on the bed and waited for her to finish changing. Once she was done changing, she walked out of the bathroom and climbed into bed. I helped her get all comfortable and warm by pulling the covers over her.

I turned around to walk out of her room since I assumed I was sleeping on the couch but i was pulled back when I felt her wrap her hand around my wrist.

"Please stay with me. I'll feel more safe if you're with me."

I hesitated for a second but walked over to the other side of the bed and climbed in pulling the covers up to my chin. I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling completely zoning out. It was quiet for a bit until Y/N started talking.

"Thank you. For literally saving me to what could've been my death. Thank you for coming over here to spend the night with me even though you probably have to get up early tomorrow. Thank you."

I flipped over and laid on my side facing her. I smiled at her and she sent a sleepy smile back.

"Of course. I'll always be here for you. But enough talking. I'm tired and you're tired so let's go to sleep, yeah?"

I saw her nod her head and she turned around to turn off the light. Once the room plummeted in darkness, I shut my eyes so I could fall asleep. But knowing that Y/N was sleeping right next to me made my heart go crazy and I didn't know why.

Turning my thoughts around, I calmed the speed of my beating heart down and slowly drifted off to sleep. Well at least i tried to.
