Hwaa (Soojin x Fem Reader)

Part 28

Soyeon's POV
"What are we going to do?" I asked as I laid my head down on Yuqi's lap.

"I don't know. The police are coming over soon to search the apartment for any evidence. Until then all we can really do is hope that she's out there and that she's ok." Said Yuqi as she leaned down to place her lips on mine for a slow but loving kiss.

I deepened the kiss a little and grabbed her hand in mine, intertwining our fingers together.

Yuqi slowly pulled away and opened her eyes to meet mine. She smiled at me and I couldn't help but feel my heart swell with indescribable love for her.

But we were both snapped out of our daze as we heard a knock on the bedroom door.

"Who is it?" I yelled as I sat up and moved to lean against the headboard of the bed.

"It's Miyeon. The police are here. They want to see you, Soyeon." Said Soyeon from the other side of the door.

I sighed before I climbed off the bed and walked over to the door. I turned the doorknob and opened it.

Miyeon walked downstairs and I followed right behind her, only stopping when I saw the police standing in the doorway into our apartment.

"Are you Soyeon? We have a few questions for you." Said one of the police as they pulled a notepad and pen from their pocket.

"Yes, I'm Soyeon. We can go sit in our living room and talk." I led them to the living room and let them pick their seats.

I took my seat next to the officer that would be asking the questions. Miyeon and Minnie sat together on the floor. Shuhua and Soojin sat on the couch that sat on the other side of the room. And Yuqi was still upstairs.

"Is this everyone?" Asked the officer.

"No-"

Loud footsteps were heard coming down the stairs and Yuqi appeared in the living room. She walked over to the officer that sat on the opposite side of me and she kindly asked him to move.

He groaned and got up so Yuqi could sit next to me.

The officer on my other side cleared his throat before turning to face me.

"So you called saying someone went missing in your apartment. Can you give us a description of what they look like?"

I nodded my head and opened my mouth to speak but Soojin raised her hand before any words could come out.

"Can I describe her? I know her best."

The officer looked at me for permission to let Soojin speak and I let him know it was ok.

Soojin began naming every detail belonging to Y/N. She told them her hair color, her eye color, her height, her shoe size, her weight, her age, and even her body type.

The officer seemed taken back by how much information Soojin had given them. But he thanked Soojin for it nonetheless.

"Now when exactly did this kidnapping happen?"

"It happened a few hours ago. Soojin and Y/N had just woken up and they both came downstairs to eat with us. But then Y/N went back upstairs to start packing since she was supposed to leave today. 40 minutes had passed and she hadn't returned downstairs yet. Soojin got worried and went upstairs to check on her only to find their room completely empty. Y/N's suitcase was open and on the floor with a few clothes in it. That was when Soojin told me and I called 911."

"So this all happened while all of you were present in the apartment?" Asked the officer as he looked down at his notepad to jot down some notes.

"Yes. But we were all downstairs when it happened."

"Did any of you see the person that may have kidnapped her?"

We all shook our heads in response and the officer just placed his notepad in his lap as he thought of another question to ask.

"Does anyone associated with any of you know the exact location of your apartment?"

We all shook our heads again except for Soojin.

"There's this...guy. He's in love with Y/N. Crazy in love. He followed her all the way here just so he could be with her again. But...Y/N is dating me. She loves me. He doesn't believe that though. He's a complete stalker. I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow knew our address."

"Do you know this guys name and what he looks like?"

"His name is Shiro Himada. He's originally from Japan. He has dark black hair and brown eyes. He looks like he could be 5'10 at most. That's all I know about him. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you more."

"Don't be sorry. You gave us just enough information to have a higher chance of catching him." The officer put his pen and notepad back in his lap and motioned for the other officers to stand up.

"I think we have enough information now. Stay here please while we go look around for any evidence." They all bowed to us and we stood up to bow back before they turned around and walked upstairs.

As soon as they were gone, Soojin broke into tears. Shuhua wrapped her arms around Soojin and brought her in for a hug.

"It'll be ok Soojin. They'll find her." Said Shuhua as she rubbed her hand up and down Soojin's back.

We all sat in silence for the next hour as the police continued to search our apartment. And finally they came back upstairs, one of them holding a plastic bag with something in it.

"We found a piece of fabric stuck in the window that's in Y/N and Soojin's room. We will take it to the lab and test it for any trace of fingerprints or DNA. We will call you when we get the results."

We thanked the officers and bowed to them one last time before they finally left our apartment.

"Don't cry Soojin. Now they have evidence which is very good and helpful in the investigation. She'll be ok." Said Shuhua as a tear fell from Soojin's eye.

I walked over to where Soojin and Shuhua were sitting and told Shuhua to take Soojin up to bed since she looked exhausted.

Shuhua nodded her head and helped Soojin get off the floor before they both walked upstairs.

Miyeon and Minnie said they would make lunch for us and left, leaving me and Yuqi alone in the living room.

I felt arms wrap around my waist from behind and I knew it was Yuqi. She laid a few kisses to my neck, causing shivers throughout my entire body.

"Don't worry Soyeon. You're doing amazing making sure Soojins stays calm." I smiled at her little compliment and turned around to face her.

I lifted my hand up and placed it on her cheek. She leaned into my touch and closed her eyes as she let out a sigh of content.

"Thank you for being by my side Yuqi. I would probably be freaking out right now if it wasn't for all your love and comfort that you're giving me."

She leaned closer and captured my lips in hers as we shared a kiss full of love. But she pulled away much too early for my liking.

"I'll always be by your side, Soyeon. What kind of girlfriend would I be if I wasn't?"

I'm writing this because my physics class is an hour long and we aren't doing anything since it's finals week and i'm also writing this to distract myself from what happened. Anyways i hope you enjoyed this part :)
