Sada
April 4th, 2020"Are we going to take a trip down memory lane or are we going to bring up recent lies? I've got all night." She says dropping her phone on the bed and watches me dry off.
"Good because so do I." I say grabbing the lotion. She sits against the headboard and crosses her arms against her chest. "So let's start with the lie you told me about you not texting your ex."
"I've never texted that man Sada,"
"You didn't text him the night of the Grammys and say 'Thank you for inspiring me to write this album?'" I ask folding my arms across my chest.
"Did you read the part where I told him to never call me or text me again?" She asks and I open my mouth to speak but close it back. "And why are you going through my phone?"
"It doesn't matter,"
"Looks like I'm not the only insecure one." She smirks and I roll my eyes. "You know what I realized about you?" I keep quiet and continue putting lotion on. "I realized that you pride yourself on being able to communicate so well but you're immature."
"I'm immature?" I scoff, "Please" I wave her off and open our dresser drawer to find something to put on. I settle for shorts and a camisole.
"Yes, you're immature. You can see what everyone else is doing wrong but you can't realize that you do something twice as fucked up."
"What am I doing that's so fucked up?" I ask raising my voice slightly, turning around to face her.
"You're friends with this girl that's head over fucking heels for you when I've asked you time and time again to end the friendship! Now I'm the one begging and pleading for respect,"
"I respect you—"
"No you don't! You belittle me and shit on my feelings because you can't get over the fact that I cheated! I've apologized and you've forgiven me for it just to throw it in my face! That's fucked up," She rants and I don't fail to notice the crack in her voice.
"I don't throw it in your face," I lean against the dresser and she waves me off with an irritated expression.
"Yes you do Sada, you do every chance you get. Every argument you flip it back on to me. You can't see where you're wrong it's always 'You're overreacting bunny' or 'You fucked up so why can't I?'" She mimics with an annoyed expression. "It's like you want a pass to cheat on me."
"I'm not going to cheat on you! I never have,"
"Why're you yelling?" She asks calmly and I take a deep breath before stepping towards her. She squints her eyes at me and tilts her head. "You did cheat didn't you?" Her intense gaze sends chills up my spine and my mouth go dry.
"No—"
"With who? Was it Ally?" She pesters getting off the bed to stand in front of me.
"I didn't cheat on you Billie! I swear on my father's grave I didn't," Her face softens, "It's like you search for something to accuse me for, do you want me to cheat on you?"
"Why would I want you to cheat on me Sada?"
"You tell me! Does it turn you on to think of me with someone else? The thought that someone else fucks me like you do?" I ask and if looks could kill I'd be buried under this apartment complex. "Hm? Is that what is? You want me to tell you about how Ally used to put my legs by my head?"
"Keep talking and watch me walk out of this apartment," She threatens and I roll my eyes.
"You wouldn't," I smirk and she raised her eyebrows with a smile.
