Sada
February 12th, 2020"May I have this dance?" Billie asks cutely as Misty by Johnny Mathis plays. We'd spent the day riding ATV's, rafting and went to a waterfall yesterday. The sun was starting to set making the house glow a beautiful orange.
"You may," I blush and let her take my hand. I stand from the couch and wrap my arm around her waist. I put my head on her shoulder and we waltz slowly.
Look at me,
I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree
And I feel like I'm clinging to a cloudI can't understand
I get misty, just holding your hand
Walk my way
And a thousand violins begin to play"Or it might be the sound of your hello. That music I hear, I get misty the moment you're near." She sings gracefully in my ear making me weak at the knees.
You can say that you're leading me on
But it's just what I want you to do
Don't you notice how hopelessly Im lost?Thats why I'm following you
On my own,
Would I wander through this wonderland alone?I close my eyes and let her take the lead as she sings to the music. I hold onto her tighter and feel my heart swell when her hand travels up to back gently. Being with her like this, something I missed when we were apart. Nothing else mattered than this moment with her.
She pulls back making me pick my head up, meeting her blushing face. She slowly raises our arms and spins me around. Giggles flow out of our mouths as we spin each other around the house. She turns me around and hugs me from behind.
"I love you." She sighs, kissing the side of my head.
"Je t'aime aussi bébé." I respond and close my eyes feeling them well with tears. We continue to dance around to his songs closely. Occasionally stealing kisses and singing together. After dancing to Johnny Mathis it turned into a full blown concert, something we both love doing together.
We had planned on going swimming in the pool but it just just ended up being me rolling a blunt and talking with her.
"You do that so fast." She says in awe watching me lick the paper before rolling it tightly together. I flick my lighter and hold it around the blunt to seal it.
"Because I'm a pro." I say cockily and stick the blunt in my mouth. "I'm a certified blunt roller baby. Tell these bitches and niggas watch out!" I put my arms up and do finger guns making her bust out laughing.
"You're such an idiot." She laughs and I flick my lighter to spark up the blunt. "When did you start saying the n word?" She asks and I take a drag from the blunt.
"Just because I don't say it around you doesn't mean it's not in my vocabulary." I tell her matter-of-a-factly after blowing the smoke out.
"Well excuse me." She smirks making me shake my head with a chuckle.
