Billie
February 26th, 2021Hundreds of us are sitting in the dimly lit theater watching me on a big ass screen with loud ass speakers. So far we'd only scratched the surface of my life and haven't gotten to introduce anything scary yet.
The entire drive here my leg was bouncing and my heart was thumping out of my chest. I could tell Sada was just as nervous due to the fact that she woke up at 6am this morning.
Neither of us had seen the finished product so I know we're in for a whirlwind. We get deeper into the film and I started to relax until..
"The camera is on?" Sada asks walking up to it and then tapping it making the camera guy laugh. I laugh loudly in the background and tell her yes. "Big superstar shit huh?"
"You know it." I stick my tongue out and pull her toward the hallway. The camera zooms in on the two of us and Sada turns to wave at it before we disappear into my room.
"Sada's a friend of Billie's—" Mom says to the camera after we'd left.
"I thought they were dating?" Dad asks with a confused look, standing off the the side of the couch. We all bust out laughing as the scene jumps to Sada and I in my room with the very faint instrumental of i love you.
"Do you think you would be a cow or a duck when you get reincarnated?" She asks and I look over at her with love in my eyes. Neither of us even paying attention to the camera being around. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She laughs and pushes my shoulder with a wide grin.
The next few scenes were random videos of us laying in the grass at my house, hanging out with her friends, her showing me a dance she'd learned and her watching me play the piano.
"We said I love you yesterday," The scene cuts to me standing in my living room with a huge smile.
"So you guys are together together?" My publicist asks and I smile wider then nod.
"Seems like it," I chuckle looking down at my phone, the camera zooms in on messages of Sada saying that she loves me and couldn't wait to see me. The theater coos making me and Sada blush.
I look over at Sada and smile just thinking about how in love I was with her and still am. I was worrying myself sick thinking about if she loved me too. Even if it was a little bit I still needed to know. Watching the way we looked at each other from an outside view made my heart swell.
A few more scenes come up of me spotting billboards of me, meeting fans, shopping for clothes, photo shoots, getting my license and tug of war with Pepper.
"Is Sada coming over Billie?" Mom asks stepping into my room. I'm stupidly barricaded under my blankets.
"No," I say. "We got into an argument,"
"About what?" Mom asks with a scoff. I flip over to look at her with an irritated expression.
"Same thing we always argue about!" I yell in frustration, mom sighs and comes to sit on my bed. "Stupid shit,"
"I've never met two people who argued as much as you two do,"
"That's what I fucking said!" I yell, throwing her arms up. "She's calling me," I grumble and pick up my phone.
"Hello?" Sada's voice comes through the phone. "I'm on my way there," I cut my eye at the camera and fight off a smile.
"I thought you weren't coming?"
