"What's your favorite color today?" I ask flipping over to watch Billie sketch in her book. Her light scribbling stops and she looks up at me, pausing briefly to think.

"Hmm, lilac." She smiles and I blush looking down at my lilac underwear. "And yours?"

"Brown." I say with no hesitation and flip back over to continue adding beads to my necklace.

"Why brown?" She asks, her attention back on her black book.

"It's pretty in all shades." I say simply, she nods and scribbles her pencil around on her book. I direct my attention back to my necklace and add the carnelian to the long beaded rose quartz necklace.

"How's your necklace coming along?"

"I'm basically done— see," I hold it up for her and smile proudly at her look of approval.

"What are these?" She touches the beads and I notice the look of curiosity that she always gives me when I make jewelry.

"This one here is carnelian," I point to the brown beads surrounded by smaller gold ones. "and this one is rose quartz."

"It's nice baby."

"I made it for you." I hold it out to her with a proud smile.

"For me?" She points to herself with a wide smile showcasing her perfect teeth and deep dimples. I nod and she puts her book down to scoot in front of me. "Put it on me." I drape the necklace on her and clasp it. She gets up to look in the mirror and smiles touching it.

"You like?" I ask looking at her through the mirror.

"I love it, thank you." She turns to me and kisses my forehead. "Okay, I gotta go but I'll come back before we leave yeah?" I frown and glance at the clock seeing it's 8:15pm. She grabs the box filled with her clothes from by the closet.

"Yeah," I say sadly wishing she'd stay with me. Yesterday she moved some of her clothes to Finn's house and we spent our first night in separate homes. I couldn't sleep the entire night, when I saw the sun rise I called her. She came here for breakfast and has been here all day.

"I love you," she thumps my nose making me giggle and she leans down to quickly peck my lips.

"I love you too," she looks at me for a little longer before turning to leave. I follow behind her and frown when she reaches for the door. "I love you baby," she says again in a baby voice making me smile.

"I love you more bunny," I kiss her forehead, she waves one more time before throwing her hood on and getting on the elevator with her security. I wait for the doors to shut before I shut mine. I sigh and lock it with a pout. "I need a cat." I say looking around the quiet apartment.

I grab the bouquet of flowers Billie brought me into the kitchen to get a vase. I connect my phone to the bluetooth and go to the sink to fill the vase. I unwrap the plastic and grab the scissors to trim the ends. My phone rings loudly and I jump holding my chest.

"Fuck," I take a deep breath and grab my phone seeing my mom is calling. "Hello mama," I disconnect the bluetooth and put my phone on speaker.

"Hi baby, how are you?" Her sweet voice says through the phone.

"I'm good, Billie just left now I'm all alone." I sigh dramatically and put the flowers in the vase.

"She left this late?"

"Shes moving out Ma," She gasps on the other side of the phone and I chuckle at her dramatics.

"Moving out?!" She yells, "What happened?!"
