{ Adley }

Calum and I fumbled out of his house and into Roy's car. It was 3:30 am and we had to be at the airport by 4:00 am to check-in for our 5:30 flight to Orlando. I felt bad that we dragged Roy up and out of the house.

Roy dropped us off and Calum and I went in and checked our luggage then went through security with our carry-ons. Before we hit our terminal, we stopped at the Starbucks kiosk and grabbed coffee. We then went to the terminal Calum and I sunk down in the chairs, my head resting on his shoulder while we waited.

We started boarding and Calum and I took our seats, me getting the window seat. As soon as we took off, Calum lifted the armrest and slid me to his side,

"Are your parents picking us up when we land?" Calum yawned, kissing my head. He's always affectionate when he's tired,

"No. They dropped a car off for us to drive. They didn't want to force you into a car ride right away" I laughed,

"Good. So I'll have more time to calm my nerves" he chuckled,

"You'll be fine. I promise" I assured,

"What about that fact I'm four years older than you?" He sighed,

"They won't care. They aren't like that. They didn't care when I told them when we first started dating"

"Cool"

We landed in Orlando and grabbed our luggage. I recalled the text from my parents telling me where the car was and led Calum out  to it. I smiled when I saw the Ford Focus. It was my first car but when I went to LA I sold it to Trent.

I typed the code in and unlocked the car, finding the keys hidden in the console. We put our bags in the trunk then got in and on the road. We had about a thirty minute drive to my house from the airport.

Calum's hand was shaking as it rested on my thigh. He was a nervous wreck. I had already stopped twice to help him out but it didn't work,

"It's going to be fine. I promise Cal" I laughed,

"I know" he sighed, "But it's still a big deal"

I nodded and took one hand off the wheel and placed it in his,

"Any warnings I need?" He asked,

"Uh," I thought, "Dylan's a jackass. He and I never got along. He would like physically try to hurt me. Now he's a drug addict and worse. Just don't take anything he says or does serious"

"Dear god Ads" Calum sucked in a breath,

"I'm kinda mean back to him but I swear I'm not actually like that," I told him,

"I know Adley" he laughed and brought our hand to his mouth and kissed my knuckles.

I pulled into my neighborhood and I saw Calum's mouth drop. The houses are big and it's a gated neighborhood on the lake,

"What do your parents do that they can afford this?" his mouth was still open,

"My mom's a lawyer and my dad's a neurosurgeon" I sighed, knowing Calum probably now thinks I'm spoiled,

"I know what it looks like but I'm not some princess. I had to work for what I have. I had a job by fourteen and everything"

"I wasn't judging Adley" he assured. I nodded then turned into my driveway.

We both got out and grabbed our bags walking up to the door. I stopped for a second and looked back at Calum,

"You okay?" I asked. He nodded and I quickly kissed his lips then opened the door. We sat our bags by the steps then I took Calum's hand,

"Mom! Dad!" I called through the house. I heard a gasp, making me laugh and pull Calum to the kitchen.

"Adley!" Mom grinned, coming around the counter and hugging me, making me let go of Calum's hand,

"Hi Mom" I smiled, hugging her back before pulling out of her grasp and hugging my dad,

"Hi Adaline" he whispered.

We pulled away and I went back to Calum, taking his hand and bringing him into the kitchen,

"Mom, Dad, this is Calum" I smiled,

"It's very nice to meet you honey" Mom hugged him while Dad shook his hand,

"You as well Mrs. Slater"

"You don't have to do the Mrs and Mr" my dad laughed, "Allison and Blaine"

"Allison, Blaine, thank you for having me as well" Calum nodded,

"Why don't you go put your stuff up. Mom cleaned your room" Dad laughed. I nodded and led Calum upstairs with our stuff.

We reached my room and I smiled as I shut the door behind us. I put our bags to the side and sat on my bed while Calum walked around and looked at everything. Calum finally came over and stood between my legs,

"It's cute. It's very you" he smiled, leaning over with his hands on my bed so we were eye level,

"Thanks" I giggled and pressed my lips to his, "Let's go back downstairs"

Once Trent got home, Dad went and got a big thing of crawfish. Now we were all sitting out back eating. I kept having to help Calum rip his because he was struggling, gaining some laughs from Trent and Dylan, who had now joined,

"This is good" Calum told me,

"I know" I laughed.

"So, how'd you guys meet again?" Dylan questioned, eyeing both Calum and I. He didn't seem too drunk or high yet,

"Adley was in a hit and run. I was at the light so I went and made sure she was okay" Calum smiled,

"Then he followed the ambulance to the hospital and took me back to my dorm after. He slyly gave me his number and then we just started texting and stuff" I finished,

"I do want to thank you for helping her. I've never talked to you until today but I do appreciate you helping her that day" my dad nodded,

"Yeah. It freaked us out when we got the call but then they told us about the Good Samaritan and it relaxed us a bit. We were glad someone was helping especially since we couldn't get out there" Mom smiled,

"No absolutely. I would have done that for anyone. This anyone just happened to be someone who makes me pretty happy" Calum winked at me,

"Alright puke" Dylan groaned, making Trent hit the back of his head.

"Do you think they like me?" Calum asked as we got in my bed,

"They love you Cal. They literally gushed about you when you were in the shower and I was downstairs" I laughed, laying on my side so we faced each other,

"That relaxes me a bit" he chuckled,

"Hey just keep being yourself" I pressed my lips to his. He kissed back for a few minutes before pulling away.

I moved and laid my head on his chest, our legs instantly tangling together,

"So what's the plan for the next few days?" He kissed my head,

"I don't know what we're doing tomorrow but Tuesday, we're spending the day on the lake then that night I'm taking you to party cove" I smiled, my finger tracing shapes on his stomach,

"What's party cove?"

"It's a little place on the edge of the lake. It's got sand and stuff. We're gonna meet some friends there, make a fire, drink. We will probably sleep there too if my Dad lets me use his truck" I laughed,

"And for your birthday?" I could hear the smirk in his voice,

"Disney. We're going to Magic Kingdom"

"That's perfect because you're a princess" Calum teased, "My princess"

"That's better" I giggled, cuddling in more,

"Goodnight Ads. Love you"

"Love you more Cal"
