I woke up feeling Calum shuffling around behind me. The loss of the feeling of his arm around me made me open my eyes to see what he was doing. Soon I felt the bed lift, telling me he was getting out of it,

"Cal?" I whispered out. He stopped his movements as I turned on my back to see him,

"Good morning" he whispered, leaning down and kissing my lips, "I didn't mean to wake you"

"It's okay" I mumbled against his lips, "You leaving?"

"Here in a bit I am. The boys and I are heading to Michael's to do some writing"

I nodded and watched as he headed out of the room to take Duke out. 

I stayed in bed and closed my eyes again. I know it's early still and there was no need for me to be awake yet.

My attempt to fall back asleep was short-lived because Calum came back and was loudly getting ready. I huffed lightly and sat up against the headboard. Calum grabbed a pair of shorts and a shirt then stripped down and started to change,

"Cute butt" I teased. He turned around with a laugh and rolled his eyes,

"What do you have planned for today?" he asked as he pulled his shirt on then walked over and sat next to me,

"Miya's coming over here so we can work on some homework we have due Monday" I shrugged,  "What time are you coming home?"

"Not sure yet. But whenever I do I'll bring dinner home" he smiled then checked his phone, 'I need to go babe"

I nodded and he stood. He leaned down and kissed my lips before pocketing his phone,

"I'll see you later. Duke's in the kitchen" he nodded, "I love you"

"I love you too"

I got my school stuff set up in the kitchen and waited on Miya to get here. She had basketball practice first.

The house is quiet today. Duke's pretty much been sleeping all day. Plus, Roy moved out so it's quiet when it's just me here.

I heard a car pull up and heard the beep from the gate. I quickly hit the button to open the gate then headed outside, watching Miya pull into the drive. Duke had followed me out and started to bark right away since he thinks he's a guard dog,

"Duke shh" I laughed as Miya got out and Duke jumped on her legs,

"He's so cute!" she gushed and gave the dog the attention he wanted. She stood back up and grabbed her backpack. Duke decided that he was satisfied and ran back to the house and waited outside the door for me to let him in.

Miya and I headed inside and got seated,

"You know that the only time I've been here was when I had to drop your drunk ass off," she told me. I sighed at the remembrance of that day,

"Yeah that was a rough day"

She nodded in agreement and we started working, just comparing answers back and forth, that was until Miya stopped and looked at me,

"So, the baby thing?" she questioned. Any time she sees me she asks. I just tell her no every time,

"It's not going like we thought it would. I guess we just thought that since we got pregnant so easy without trying, we would when trying. We were wrong" I shrugged,

"I'm sorry" she frowned,

"It's okay. It'll happen when it's supposed to happen. All our friends think we're crazy for trying anyway. Our families are actually excited. I think they expected us to start trying"

"When the time is right, you'll get pregnant"

"We know" I nodded.

We finished up all our work as Calum walked into the house,

"Oh hey" he smiled when he saw Miya, not expecting her to be here, "I got pizza if you wanted to join us"

"I'm okay. I need to get back to campus"

Maya grabbed all her things and I saw her out then came back in and joined Calum at the table,

"How was writing?" I asked as I sat down next to him,

"Really good. We might get some studio time in a month or two to record a couple of things" he grinned. I know he's happy to be back with the boys and making new music. He did a lot of writing of his own over the lockdown. Some he's keeping for himself and others he's going to share with the boys,

"You and Miya get your stuff done?" he questioned,

"Yeah. We got done pretty fast so we got to just talk for a while" I smiled,

"About us trying to get pregnant?" he asked with a straight face. I kinda frowned. Was he mad?

"Yeah. I mean, we talk about it. I mean she's like my best friend so I just thought it was fine. I mean, you told your friends and-"

He immediately cut me off,

"Adley, I'm not mad. I understand you need to talk to someone other than me sometimes. I talk to the boys about it some. It's been hard on me too" he admitted.

I nodded,

"I just feel like we are just having sex to have a baby now. I feel like we aren't actually enjoying it. It feels like a chore now" I told him,

"I know baby. I know" he pulled me onto his lap, "What if we stop just having sex like that. We'll have sex because we want to and we love each other. If we get pregnant, amazing, but that won't be what we focus on"

I nodded and kissed his lips,

"How about we relax tonight and watch a movie?" Calum suggested,

"That sounds good" I nodded, "And I know we just talked about sex, but not tonight. I just want to cuddle with you"

"Perfectly okay"

After we showered, we cuddled in bed while Harry Potter played on the tv. We were just enjoying being with each other and occasionally sharing a few kisses. It felt like it did when we first started dating. We would always cuddle like this and just watch movies.

As the movie was starting to end, I could feel my eyes drooping. I heard Calum chuckle then felt him kiss my head,

"Go to sleep my love" he whispered, "I love you"

I couldn't even get my 'I love you' out before I was sound asleep.
