I woke up with a smile on my face. My girl was curled up in my arms and our baby was getting bigger every day. Also, today is Christmas Day and we'd be finding out what gender our baby is. The doctor could tell last week but decided to put together a present for us to open this morning and find out.

I kissed the side of Adley's head, making her scrunch her nose and roll on her back,

"Merry Christmas" I whispered. I saw a smile then she opened her eyes,

"Merry Christmas" she yawned, letting her hand fall to her bump. She smiled then grabbed my hand and put it on a certain spot where I felt the little kick,

"Not going to lie, it's still kind of mindblowing how fast you got pregnant again" I spoke in more of a whisper tone. It was a shorter time than I thought it would be,

"I know. I just hope everything just stays good this time" Adley sighed, resting her head on my arm, "I'm hungry"

I chuckled and sat up,

"What are you and baby wanting?" I questioned as I tossed on a sweatshirt then got one for Adley too,

"Pancakes and bacon" she smiled. I nodded and laid the hoodie on the bed by her,

"I'll go start breakfast" I smiled and kissed her lips then headed out to the main area with Duke trotting behind me.

I stopped for a minute as I passed the living room seeing all the presents we had. Both mine and Adley's parents went kinda crazy and bought us a shit load of stuff and had it wrapped and delivered since they wouldn't be able to come here because of Covid. Adley and I purposely haven't bought any baby stuff because we already knew we were getting a bunch for Christmas. After breakfast we will probably call them both and open everything, saving our gender reveal for last.

I let Duke outside then started making breakfast. I knew I didn't have much time before Adley would come out and sit at the counter. I wanted it done before she got out of bed so she didn't have to wait.

Just as I finished up, Adley walked out with my hoodie covering her body, but not like it used to because of the baby bump,

"Your breakfast m'lady" I smiled and put a plate in front of her the filler her water bottle for her before grabbing my plate and sitting next to her,

"Thank you" she smiled and took a bite, "My mom texted and said they were good to Facetime whenever"

"Cool. We can do all that after this. My parents should be up"

My iPad was set up on the coffee table and angled to where you could see Adley and me in front of the tree with the gifts. Both our parents were on the call and our moms were just chatting up a storm. They have each other's phone numbers and apparently they talk all the time now,

"Why don't you all start opening stuff" my dad laughed, followed by Blaine. Adley and I nodded and grabbed one of the medium-sized boxes. I let Adley open it and when she pulled it out she smiled big. It was a nice backpack diaper bag that had a place to put ice packs in for bottles,

"Thank you" she grinned, "This is so cute"

"I like that it's not like super girly looking" I spoke. That was my one thing with the diaper bag. I know it sounds bad but I didn't want a super girly one.

We continued on with gifts getting things like outfits, blankets, bottles, and pacifiers then got to the last one besides the gender reveal one. This gift was huge and honestly, I was confused as to what it could be. I stood and unwrapped it, seeing a box for a nice stroller.

I opened the box and pulled the stroller out, very grateful when I saw it was already put together and all I had to do was open it up, and that's when Adley and I loved it. It had storage under the seat, a little tray, and had a nice adjustable seat for the baby that even adjusted to fit a baby carrier,

"Thank you all so much" I smiled, "I really like this"

"I do too. This is such a nice stroller" Adley added.

Next, everyone was begging for us to open the gender reveal box. Honestly, Adley and I were ready too. We were dying to know what we are having.

We sat the box between us and slowly opened it and found it full of blue and pink confetti. We dug through the box and saw a white folded-up onesie. Adley and I looked at each other and I picked it up, letting it unfold, both of us gasping when we saw what it said,

"What is it?" I heard my mom ask. Adley and I looked at each other, both of us having tears in our eyes,

"It's a girl" I choked out. I was so happy. I wanted a girl to be honest.

I pulled Adley into a hug and kissed her lips, then let my hands fall to her stomach, completely forgetting about our parents on Facetime,

"Hey, baby girl" I whispered,

"You're gonna be a girl dad" Allison spoke, making both Adley and I look at the screen.

"I'm a girl dad" I smiled proudly, "We're gonna be girl parents"

"I'm so happy" Adley choked up and hugged me again, "Oh I can't wait to tell our friends"

"I can't wait to tell the world" I beamed,

"Then do it" Adley beamed. I immediately grabbed my phone and tweeted with the biggest smile on my face
