I shuffled awake and grabbed my phone off the side table. I saw a few Snapchat notifications, which I opened, then rolled over to find my boyfriend cuddled up with Duke. Calum had a sweatshirt on so I'm assuming he had gotten up early to take Duke out since he went to bed last night without a shirt. But he and Duke looked adorable so I took a picture just as Calum's eyes popped open:

"Morning baby" Calum whispered, taking my phone and putting it aside. Duke shuffled to the end of the bed,
"Morning" I smiled and moved into his hold, pressing a kiss to his lips, "Have you already been up?"
"Mhm" he hummed, "Took Duke out then started the coffee pot"
I nodded and cuddled into his chest. Calum held me tight to him,
"What are we doing today?" I questioned, letting my eyes flutter closed again,
"Since we have the whole day and night to ourselves, I was thinking maybe we could work on things. I overheard you and your mom talking before they left and I overheard you talking to the therapist. Maybe we should try" he spoke, "I was thinking that we can make dinner together later. We need to go grocery shopping so we can grab stuff to make something then"
"That sounds good to me" I smiled,
"Perfect" he whispered as the sound of our stomachs growling went through the room, "Let's get up for breakfast"
I chuckled as Calum got out of bed and picked me up, carrying me out to the kitchen as Duke followed. He set me on the barstool and started grabbing what he needed. I shivered slightly, which Calum caught sight of,
"Cold?" he chuckled,
"I'm in my underwear and your shirt only, so yes" I rolled my eyes. He smiled and jogged down the hall, returning with a green hoodie and a blanket. I put the hoodie on then let the blanket drape over my legs,
"Thanks" I grinned, sending him a big smile as he laughed and started breakfast.

Calum parked at the grocery store and we both masked up and headed inside. Calum grabbed a cart and I walked along next to him,
"Let's get our necessities first then we can grab whatever for what we decide to make for dinner" Calum spoke. I nodded and locked my arm with his as we started walking down aisles.
