As soon as class ended, I rushed back to my dorm. I grabbed a few things then got into my car to go to the doctor then go to Calum's. Since I don't have class on Fridays, Calum and I decided I'd stay at his Thursday night to Sunday.

I got to the doctor's office and parked in the parking garage. I still had a few minutes so I quickly grabbed my phone and texted Calum,

[ Hey, I'm at the doctor now.
I'll be over after ]

Cal🥰: [ okay baby. Good
luck! I'll see you soon ]

I smiled and put my phone in my purse and put my mask on to walk inside. I checked in and they took me back to a room.

The doctor walked in quickly and started checking over things,

"Physically you look good and I'm okay to let you do whatever you did before," she told me, "Now, how are we mentally? Your boyfriend too?"

"We're getting better. It was just a lot considering we didn't know" I shrugged.

She nodded and typed some stuff in the computer before handing me a paper to release me back to basketball,

"You are good to go" she smiled. I thanked her and hopped back in my car and started fighting the traffic on my way to Calum's.

I got to Calum's and used my key to go inside. It was quiet so I wasn't sure where he was. I started down the hall to his room where Duke suddenly ran out of and jumped on my legs,

"Hi buddy" I cooed and knelt down, petting the small dog,

"Duke are you stealing my girlfriend" Calum appeared, chuckling. I stood and wrapped my arms around the boy and pecked his lips,

"How was the doctor?" he asked, taking my backpack and setting it just inside his bedroom,

"Good. I got cleared" I smiled, "I can do whatever now"

"Hmm like sexy time" he laughed, his lips hovering mine. I sighed and placed my hands on his chest to look up at him,

"I just- I don't know right now Cal"

"Hey hey. I know baby. There's no pressure. To be honest, I don't know if I can. I'll just be thinking about the baby we lost"

I nodded and just hugged him, letting my cheek rest against his chest,

"Do you wanna order in some dinner then we can chill for the night?" he asked, kissing the top of my head,

"That's fine" I nodded, "Can we do something simple?"

Calum nodded and we headed out back and sat down, deciding we'd order from this make your own salad place. We quickly placed our order then relaxed together as Duke ran circles around the pool,

"Where's Roy?" I questioned, suddenly remembering the guy,

"He's visiting his family"

I nodded and stayed close.

Calum got the message on his phone that our food was here, making him get up and walk out to the front gate.

He came back and handed me mine first then sat back down to eat his,

"Oh, so I've got to run to the studio in the morning. They're letting us go in for the first time" he spoke, taking a bite,

"Oh? What time?" I questioned, wanting to figure out what time I should leave in the morning then,

"Really early" he chuckled, "But you don't have to leave. Stay here. This is your house too. I don't want you to feel like you have to leave when I'm not here. I've told you before Adley, this is yours too"

I sighed but nodded. I feel bad almost. I felt awful that I was living here and not contributing the whole time during quarantine,

"Is there anything you wanna do tonight?" Calum asked, changing topics,

"I think" I hummed, looking up at him, "We should just watch a movie and cuddle up"

"Sounds like a plan" Calum smiled, "How does a shower sound first?"

"I dunno, a bath sounds good" I grinned,

"Then a bath it is"

After a nice long bath, Calum and I cuddled up in his bed. He was laid sideways with his head in my lap and Duke was curled up on the pillow.

My hands ran through Calum's hair as we watched a movie. His hair has gotten so freaking long. He hates it but he won't cut it because he knows I like it,

"What the hell are we watching?" Calum finally asked. To be honest, we clicked something random,

"I have no idea" I laughed. This movie was all over the place. I couldn't tell you what was going on,

"I'm turning this shit off" he mumbled, sitting up and turning the tv off so that the room was dark. Calum got under the covers causing Duke to run off and find his bed.

Calum moved to where his arms were wrapped around me and his face was in my neck,

"Will you wake me before you leave in the morning?" I asked quietly,

"Yeah of course" he nodded then lightly kissed the side of my neck, "But get some more sleep after. I'll make sure the house is locked and the alarm is back on"

I nodded and turned so we faced each other and pressed my lips to his,

"I wish you'd just move in" he spoke, "But I know we need to wait. I just wish you could move in now"

"Well" I sighed, "If something happens with basketball, then maybe I will"

"What do you mean?" he questioned, moving me so my head laid on his chest,

"At first coach wasn't mad or anything about me not being able to practice yet and stuff. He seemed understanding about the situation. But he's changing it seems like. He was pissed off at me yesterday and was telling me that it was my fault and stuff"

"Ads, I'm so sorry"

"It's whatever. Plus my teammates somehow all know and it's not easy either"

"You have me babe. You can come and talk to me whenever. I'll leave the studio or stop whatever I'm doing" he held me tighter,

"I know Cal. And I appreciate it" I smiled, "I love you"

"I love you too" he whispered, "But seriously I'll kick someone's ass if I need to"
