Casey Epilogue

We walk past dozens of fields I use my flash light on my phone after hours on end of walking
"Thank you for sticking up for me with that man"I say to Casey as we walk over a puddle

"It's okay,How old you exactly? If you don't mind me asking"
"Fourteen,you?"
"I'm fourteen too!"I smile i see a dark building in the distance about a five minute walk

"Guys look"I point my flashlight towards it
"Nice eye"H cheers looking back at me We walk towards it we get to the door H looks through the window
"It looks like no one been here for a while"He look back at us

"What's in there?"
"Let's find out"He goes around the back we hear a smash and him groan I turn the handle on the door it opens I look at Casey he just shrugs

We walk in H comes through from a different room
"You know the door was unlocked"
"Yeah well my way works just fine look around yell if you are in trouble"He walks away into a different room

"Inspiring leadership"I whisperer to Casey
"Yeah We're bloody inspired..let's check the bedrooms"I shut the door I walk down the hall into a bedroom with a double bed with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers I look in the drawers with Scott now on the bed

I look through the wardrobe finding clothes that have a layer of dust covering the shoulders but nothing else I pick up Scott and walk back into the living room I set Scott on the couch I flip the light switch I watch as the lights flicker and shine the room up I smile at the success and look on the desk behind the couch I see a note I pick it up and read it

'Hi
if you are reading this then you can stay in this house all the lights and water should be working me and my family moved out so feel free to stay in here as longs as you need we have left a car in the garage it needs to be fix so you can use that but other than that have a nice time Bye'

"What are you doing?"I flinch turning around seeing H leaning on the wall behind me
"There was a note I was just reading it look here"I hand him the note he reads over it
"Kinda lucky huh?"He looks up from the paper
"I guess so"

We've been here for about five months now H got a job at the small corner shop while me and Casey stay at the house I usually teach him how to read with the books that are on the bookshelf in the bedroom I sleep in

"T...The boy t..t"He stutters trying to read the book as I sit next to him on the couch
"Took"he looks at me then back at the book

"The boy...took her h..hand gently"
"That's it well done"He smiles at me and kisses my cheek he looks back at the book while I sit with my cheeks heating up and my heart racing

"You okay Y/n?"I look at him
He has his eyebrows narrowed down making him look ten times cuter
"Oh yeah I'm fine"we look into each other's eyes till he starts to lean forward moving his gaze to my lips then back to my eyes

I begin to lean in to till our noses are touching he puts a hand on my cheek and pulls me closer making the gap between us disappear the kiss is soft and sweet just like his lips on mine we hear the door open and immediately pull away from each other we look at the door to see H smirking with Scott on his lead

"What you two doing?"he asks putting a bag on the table
"Uh...Casey had something on his face and I was seeing what it was"

"With your lips?"we both blush
"Guys honestly I don't care if you kiss each other's faces off but not when I'm in the room I don't wanna see that I don't think Scott does either"he takes the lead off Scott I think H has grown onto Scott they spend so much time together it's adorable really

"I'll be in the garage"He walks back out the door with Scott hot on his tail
Leaving me and Casey alone once again
"So what do you want to do?"I look over at him he looks at the door then me
"To keep kissing you...if you want"I nod we lean forward once again making our lips connect
