This was requested by xxtiredlikeusualxx —————————————————— "Lampwick I'm fine,now I need to go" I said picking up my basket so I can buy some food
Lampwick was following me around like a little puppy begging me not to go because I could go into labour any time
"But if your buying pastries and your water breaks? I won't be there to help you"He said in front of me as I open the door
"Please stay or I'll come with you"I sigh and take his hat off his hook
"Come on then"He smiled and took his hat he kissed my cheek then my baby bump before walking out the house me close behind him
We make it to the little shop and I'm looking at the different recipe books while Lampwick stares at all the different treats
"Princess"Lampwick calls I look over at him he points to the creamy donut in front of him
"I'm not your mother Lampwick get what ever you want"he picks up two of the pastries and puts them into a small brown bag
"Thanks princess"I smiled giving his cheek a kiss before picking up the recipe book that had the best treats in them I get a few more things for our meals and I pay for them
Once we got home Lampwick put the shopping away for me as I put on a fire at out little fire pit
As I go to sit down I feel liquid run down my leg my water just broke
"Lampwick!"I shout he turns away from the counter and look at me his eyes widen and he runs over to me holding onto my waist
"We need to take you to the doctor"He said a rush of pain goes through me I scream holding onto Lampwick with my death grip
"We...don't have time"I gritted through my teeth he slowly walked me over to our shared bed and laid me down putting pillows behind me supporting my back
"I'll go get the doctor I'll be right back"He said worry lacing in his voice I put a hand on his cheek
"Lampwick"He looked into my eyes his looking like he going to cry any moment
"Don't worry okay"He nodded even though we both knew he wouldn't stop worrying he kissed my forehead before running out the house
I sat for not even a minute and Lampwick was back he was breathing heavily and he had a little sweat coming down his forehead
he sat down next to me on a little wooden seat we had and took ahold of my hand
"The doctor's on his way"Lampwick told me I nodded, my other hand holding my stomach the doctor came rushing in
After the ten hours of pain and lack of sleep the baby was finally here Lampwick didn't stop checking if I was ok and never left my side the doctor took them away and cleaned the baby with a towel
"Princess you did amazing"Lampwick said kissing my sweaty forehead
"You have a beautiful healthy baby boy congratulations Mr and Mrs Y/L/n"The doctor said carefully handing me the fragile baby
he looked a lot like Lampwick his nose was the same as his and he had a little mole on his right cheek the same place Lampwick has his
Lampwick leaned over my shoulder and looked at the baby of now small family "I suggest you get some rest and stay in bed for a few days just so your body can recover"The doctor said "Thank you doctor"Lampwick spoke to the doctor for a moment or two before he left
Lampwick sat back down on his chair I rested my head on his shoulder he leaned his head on mine looking down at the little baby boy in my arms
"What should we call him?"Lampwick asked looking down at me
"Joiner"I said he looked at me with a slight frown
"Lampwick Joiner"I said Lampwick smiled widely and gave my lips a soft kiss
