A/N: hello my dear readers, this fanfic is coming to an end soon. I am very sad about it. But I will publish my new les mis fanfic tomorrow. I've planned it for the last couple of days and I am really excited to tell you guys a new story. Feel free to check it out (will be announced)
September 1839
I finally held my daughter in my arms. She was beautiful and her fair hair was looking golden in the setting sunlight. I was full of joy and Timothy would meet his little sister in the course of the next few days.
Bastien and I had thought about names and he loved the name Elizabeth. Elizabeth Amalia. Elizabeth Amalia Allard. It sounded beautiful.
"You did incredibly well. Are you feeling good?", Combeferre asked, sitting down on my bedside.
"Yes. I am just very tired. She's beautiful."
"She has Enjolras' eyes. Well, Bastien's eyes."
"I know. I already fell in love with them."
"Does she have a name?", he asked.I nodded.
"Elizabeth Amalia. Bastien chose Elizabeth and Amalia was my suggestion. I think it suits her."
"A little Eliza.", Combeferre said.I chuckled.
"I have told your father. He would like to come to visit tomorrow. Caroline and Delilah would be here tonight to keep you company and make sure, you're— well, alive in the morning.", Combeferre said, cleaning Elizabeth up.
"That's wonderful. I wish Bastien would come through this door and tell me the same.", I said.
"You should sleep a little. You've done enough for today."Delilah and Caroline came inside. They placed the pillows and blankets on the grounds. Combeferre waved goodbye. Delilah took Elizabeth while I fell asleep.

"Bastien.", I gasped.
I had awoken. Bastien stood in front of me, this time not in the mirror.
"Hello, my love. Elizabeth is beautiful. I knew it would be an Elizabeth all along."
"You're here."
"Yes, I am.", he whispered. He put his cold hand on my forehead.
"You're feverish.", he said, pulling his hands away.
I tried to grab him.
"Take me with you. Don't go without me.", I said.
"It is not your time to go. Tell my story to our children and kiss both of them for me.""Don't go.", I gasped.
"I am never far away. Enjoy your life, my love. Raise our children to be independent people.", he said, leaving me.***
I was shaken awake by Combeferre.
"Thank God, we almost lost you.", he whispered, pressing a cold cloth to my forehead.
"Will she be alright?", Delilah asked.
"Yes. It's called puerperal fever, also known as childbed fever, which usually occurs 24 hours up until 10 days from birth.", he explained."I am cold.", I whispered.
"I know. Don't worry, everything will be alright.", he said.I almost died. That's why Bastien appeared. He wanted to hold me back from stepping into the light. He wanted me to be there for our children. I would beat this childbed fever and would raise both my children to prosperity.
