Chapter 12: Anastasia Catia

A break for someone will either make you realise how much you truly miss, love them or how much peace you have without them. I want to give them a chance to talk. A chance to make them realize how much they love each other, they still love each other and they deserve a second chance.

It's been two days since I saw him with Mia, it still hurt so much. He went here at Lola's house pero lagi kong pinapasabi sa mga kasambahay tuwing pupunta siya rito at hinahanap ako ay lumabas ako para mamili ng damit sa mall. Kahapon lang ay pumunta talaga ako sa mall para bumili ng bagong phone, nakatanggap agad ako ng ilang messages mula sa kanya na nakaraang araw niya pa palang text, good thing before I left his condo unit ay naitago ko ang nasira kong phone sa bag ko.

I set my phone into an airplane mode kasi kanina pa ring ng ring dahil sa pumapasok na text message at tawag mula sa kanya. Lola is not here, nasa La Carlotta para mag bakasyon at laking pasalamat ko dahil pag narito siya ay papapasokin niya talaga si Reymart sa kwarto ko para mag-usap kaming dalawa.

I sighed because I remember it again, I remember the scene how I caught Mia kissing Reymart. I know I don't have the rights to get jealous because we don't have a relationship and Mia is the one who initiated the kissed and the hugged. I don't have the right to cry or to get hurt.

"Hindi mo hinarap? Buti naman." Rory said.

She called me and I laughed so hard because of what she said. I'm so happy that she called me kahit busy siya, she was like a friend to me right now. We are so close na like sisters, she's still mad at Reymart at sinabi kong wag siyang maging ganon.

"Stop being like that, Rory. He is still your best friend." I said and I heard her sighed.

"Ay nako, pag hindi mo lang ako pinigilan ay makakalbo ko talaga ang Mia na yon. May kasalanan pa siya sa akin at kay Rochelle. That backstabbing queen! Mabait at santa-santita pag nandyaan si Reymart pero pag wala ay daig pa si satanas!" She said.

"Yeah, Rochelle said that to me at akala ko ay nagbibiro lang siya."

"No... oh by the way, do you have some time? Kita tayo nila Glaiza, lunch date lang?"

"Uhh sure, when?"

"Kailan ka free?"

"I'm always free when it comes to my friends." I said and winked.

"Wag ka ngang ganyan! Baka ma-fall ako sayo." She joked and we both laughed.

We talk for almost five minutes and after that she said goodbye na dahil ay balik trabaho na ulit siya. In the next day ay tanghali na ako nagising so I get up at pumasok sa banyo para maligo at nagbihis kaagad. Lola is still not here, busy siguro talaga sa mga kaibigan niya.

"Catia!" Rinig kong sigaw ni Rory at nakita ko si Glaiza na kumakaway kaya naglakad ako papalapit sa pwesto nila.

"Oyy sorry nag-order na kami, pero kung hindi mo gusto ang food na in-order namin pwede ka namang mag-order ulit. Libre raw ni Rory." Glaiza said and smirked to Rory.

"Huyy, boang ka. Oo na nga, order kana Catia." Rory said.

I chuckled when I saw their faces na nahihiya sa akin, umiling na lamang ako at ngumiti sa kanila. Tinignan ko ang pag-kain na in-order nila at masarap naman iyon at pamilyar sa akin.

"Masarap naman uh, okay na'to." I said and smile at them.

I feel awkward at first but nang maramdaman ko naman na hindi nila ako hinahayaan na ma-out of place sa topic nila ay nakikisama na rin ako. They are so kind dahil hindi nila pinaparamdam sa akin na awkward ang sitwasyon namin. They asked me 'how about you?' para hindi ako ma-left behind sa kanilang dalawa.
