Ch 24

I got up and drove home.

No music, no noise, or anything.

I just simply drove.

When I got home I locked myself in my room and just sat on my phone for the rest of the night.

I texted Conner to come over because he always seems to cheer me up, and he came right away.

"Hey Bri! What's up" he hugged me

"Hi." I slightly smiled, hugging him back

"Oh my god, what's wrong?" He looked at me with worry as he sat me down on my bed

I thought about the question for a while, but had no clue on what to reply.

What is wrong? I don't even know...

"Nothing Conner, I'm just tired" I smiled

"Bullshit, spill it." He said immediately

I giggled at his remark and nodded my head.

"God you know me so well"

"Yup, it's my job, now please, tell me what's wrong"

I nodded, then began.

"Alright well, It's Shawn. He's be-

"Shawn?","Shawn. Of course.","Continue..."

I scoffed, "Ya well, I don't even know, he's been acting like a douche lately, and I feel like he's been hiding something from me."

About an hour later of discussing my problems with Conner, I actually felt a little better.

He comforted me, and I made sure to keep my distance.

Considering, I'm still in a relationship, and I have to stay loyal. Not matter what.

"Shawn's a douche, ok. Just, don't worry about it"

"No. He's not like this Conner. He was so sweet and good"

"Wait, don't you have a thing for bad boys?" He said, confused.

I bit the inside of my cheek, and sat there, thinking about what he just said.

& I honestly don't know anymore.

"Conner, I'm confused."I began to tear up,"I mean I thought I did, but now I just don't know!"

He looked at me, and wrapped his arms around me. I tensed up a bit but he patted my back and told me it was ok.

"I'm your friend, this is what I'm supposed to do...comfort you"

I nodded and he smiled, "you love him, don't you."

I looked up at him and nodded,"I really do."

He gave me a side smile and we talked about it some more.

"Maybe you should just talk to him about it. Tell him everything your telling me."

I nodded in agreement

"Ok, I'll do that."
