-Sabrina's Pov

Later that night, Shawn and I just hung out.

It was pretty laid back.

We went to a really nice fair that was in town.

It was pretty big, and the thing I liked about it was that no one we knew was there.

We went on a couple roller coasters and rides.

Shawn and I stuffed ourselves with food and drinks, and we rode around in the teacups until we felt sick.

It was the best fun I've had in weeks.

Around closing time, we went on one last ride. The Ferris wheel.

We hopped into a blue cart and it slowly took us up, into the air.

I looked to my right, where the perfect view of the sunset shined, and gazed upon it.

While Shawn, pretended not to be scared, and held my hand as tight as he could.

"Are you ok?" I giggled

"Psh...I'm fine! The question is, are you ok?" He fake laughed

"Oh, I'm fine" I stated

"Good!"

"Great." I laughed

As the time passed, I kinda hoped the wheel would stop at the very top. Like, those really cheesy love stories! Where, the boy and the girl go to the fair, get stuck on the ride, and end up having some corny sentimental moment, where they hug each other in terror.

But, nope! None of that happened tonight.

As the ride came to an end, Shawn and I hopped off our cart and started heading home.

We pumped up the music in his truck and drove really fast through a dark tunnel, with small lights gleaming on every corner.

It was quite beautiful.

My favorite part was always the moment when we exited the tunnel, and into the city.

With, millions of lights shining, the wind blowing extra hard, and all you could see was tall, beautiful buildings surrounding us as we rode across the bridge.

We had one of our favorite songs playing.

We didn't know what it was called but we liked it very much.

It made us feel a certain way. An unexplainable way.

This all sounds really cheesy but, it was amazing.

Shawn opened the roof window and I climbed through it, and into the back of the truck.

I was scared at first, but as the road got smoother, I got more comfortable, and slowly stood up.

Shawn drove faster and our screams of joy echoed through the tunnel.

I spread my arms out and let the wind take control of my hair.

Shawn and I sang along to the song playing on the radio, and we felt, Infinite.

Tunnel scene credit goes to, my favorite book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower 💘 (I changed it up a little though)
