Ch 41

-Sabrina's POV

For the past couple weeks I've been nothing but, lonely and single.

I feel like everything has fallen apart. Nothing is how it used to be.

Shawn and I haven't seen each other in the longest, along with me and Conner.

I took a seat back on the chair I was sitting on, and just thought to myself.

I thought about all kinds of things.

I Had various of flashbacks, some good, some bad.

I thought about the time Conner, Rylie, Cynthia, & I all skated down the streets.

We felt pretty damn great.

And who can forget the time We snuck into that abandoned house.

That was the day I realized how much I liked Shawn. It wasn't quite love yet, but it eventually made its way.

I shook my head to clear my thoughts, then got up and headed down Stairs.

No one was home.

Not much of a difference.

After a few hours it was completely dark outside, and rain began pouring from the sky.

I went out into my door step, and sat there.

Looking at the rain drops and, again, thinking.

When a few moments later an unfamiliar car drove up.

Two bodies came out, and I could only recognize one.

They came closer to me, hand in hand, and laughing at each other's sayings.

"Mom?" I looked up at her with glossy eyes

"Oh, hey...Bri" she said weakly

"Who's this ?" I said pointing to the tall white male that was holding her waist as close to him as possible.

"This,- this is Charles." She hesitated

"And ...what's he doing here?"

"Sabrina!" My mom hissed

"Now, now, it's fine." 'Charles' chuckled, and helped me up from where I was sitting.

"Sabrina...","this-is-my-Boyfriend" she gave a quick smile.

I looked at her with a look of confusion and betrayal.

I know I should be happy for my mother, considering she's been single for the longest! But something about this situation, at this very moment wasn't right.

I felt, pretty crappy.

"Boyfriend?"

"Yes, boyfriend." She stated, then pushed me aside to enter the house.

She held Charles' hand pretty tight and he swirled his way around me.

As soon as they got in the door immediately shut, leaving me behind.

"Looks like my moms leaving me to."

Anyways damn, Sabrina's mom has a boyfriend. How long has she been hiding this??
