Ch 12

-Sabrina's Pov

The sound of my phone going off woke me up at 7:30am.

I groaned and unlocked it to see a message from Shawn

"Hey, can I come over? My moms thinks I'm on my way to school 😐"
-Shawn

"Ugh, Ya, sure." -Me

He replied with a "Thanks" and I locked my screen.

I was so exhausted. I only had 3 hours of sleep and I was starting to get irritated.

Shawn showed up 10 minutes later and I texted him where the spare key was so I wouldn't have to get up and he came up right away

"Hey" she said in a low voice as he threw his backpack on the ground and plopped on my bed with me.

"Hey" I replied, with my face smushed in my pillow

We didn't talk for a while, but it was ok.

After a while he rolled over and rested his head on my chest and I rested my chin on the top of it.

My hands met both sides of his cheeks and his met my waist.

I think we kinda knew what we were doing. Even though we were half asleep, I still think we knew exactly what we were doing.

A couple hours later we woke and pretended as if nothing happened.

I got dressed in my bathroom while Shawn was watching tv in my room.

Since we were going to the beach I put on my black bathing suit and some high waisted shorts with a flannel to cover up. I put my hair in a messy bun and slid on my toms.

When I was done I went back in my room and Shawn had put on some basketball shorts over his tanned jeans and a black tee

"Ready?" I smiled

He nodded and we headed down stairs

I grabbed my moms car keys since she wasn't home, and my sister was at school and shawn and I hopped in the car.

This was like my 3rd time driving, but i wasn't as horrible as I thought I'd be! I was actually pretty good...

"Sabrina slow down!!" Shawn shouted as he tightened his seat belt

"Huh?" I shouted over the loud music from the car

I was playing sweater weather by The Neighborhood, I love them.

"I said slow down!" Shawn repeated

"Oh, you baby!" I teased

Shawn had his eyes shut and had seemed to be praying

"Damn, am I really that bad a driver?" I laughed

"Oh, your not that bad! You just missed about 3 stop sighs and ran a red light, but that's all!" He teased, "thank god the cops weren't around"

I rolled my eyes and giggled as I quickly pulled into a parking space

"We're here!" I sang

"Oh thank god","I'm driving on the way home!"

"Baby"

We took our shoes off and Shawn took off his pants and his shirt, to be left in his basketball shorts.

I threw my shirt off and slowly tip-toed in the water, along with shawn.

"It's so cold!" I shrieked

"Baby" he mimicked my voice

I rose my eyebrow at him and he stuck his tongue out.
I gave him a mischievous grin and he tensed up.

I made my way over to him and splashed a whole bunch of water onto him causing him to jump.

"Fuck it's cold!" He shouted

"Ooh, careful! That's a big word for you" I smirked

He gave me a grin and splashed me with water like I did to him

"Ugh fuck you!"

"Love you too babe"

"Ugh bad boys" I scoffed

After a while of fooling around in the water, Shawn and I got out and took a walk on shore.

It was starting to get dark, And the sun was setting. It looked quite peaceful actually.

As we kept walking I felt a thick drop of water land on my forehead

Shawn looked up, and before you knew it, it was pouring rain.

"It's raining!" I shrieked

"No shit" a little boy walking by with his mom glared at me

Shawn tried to hold in his laughter and I stood there, trying to pertain it wasn't funny.

"Well then..."

"No shit" Shawn mimicked the little boy

I rolled my eyes and grabbed Shawn's hand.

We ran until we hid at the bottom of the pier bridge. Shawn and I couldn't stop laughing.

We were drenched in water and it felt amazing. Expecially, being here with him.

I looked straight into his eyes, and he looked into mine.

He put his hands on my waist and pulled me in closer to him. I put both my hands right below his cheeks, to his jawline.

And we leaned In.
