Ch 8

-Sabrina's Pov

"It'll be fine, trust me.","Your going to have the time of your life!"

He wipes his face with his large hands and groans, "fine."

I shriek in excitement and smile

"Ok, first things first. There's no way we're doing the project."

"Aw man!","but that's half our grade!"

"Shh..." I hush him,"we're doing it Shawn."

"Ugh ok, what else?" He gestures me to go on

"You need a new wardrobe" I smirk

"What?! What's wrong with the way I dress now?"

"Nothing, really..." I shrug my shoulders

"Then..."

"I just think you need more of an edgier look, something that screams 'Rebel'!" I exaggerate the last word

He chuckles and nods, "ok, fine. I'll give it a try"

Yay! This is going to be fun.

"Ok well, since we're not doing the project I'll just come over tomorrow and we'll get started" I smile

"Sure, whatever..." He throws on some shades and leans against his dresser

"Doof" I laugh

"See I got this! I can totally be bad"

"Ya. Okay..." I playfully roll my eyes

"So where are you staying?" He smiles

"Um, I don't know I guess I'll go home." I give him a side smile

"I think that's a good idea"

"Why? Because you don't want me to be with Conner?"

"Well, he's just-I don't...- just leave." He laughs

I giggle and nod

"Ok, bye" I say grabbing my bag, heading towards his front door

Shawn followed behind me and rushed to open the door for me. I smiled and waved goodbye.

I looked back to see Shawn leaning against the door, he looked kinda worried and unsure. I gave him an "ok" smile and head nod and continued walk when he called my name out.

"Sabrina!"

I looked back at him, confused and he signaled me to come back.

"Ya??" I jog back to him

"It's not safe, maybe I should give you a ride"

"You have your license?" I look at him confused

"Nope...","but I'm old enough to drive!" He flashes a smile

"But you need an adult with you" I giggle

"Oh whatever..." He says grabbing his moms car keys,"no one will know" he smirks

"Ooh, looks like you can pull this bad boy thing off"

"Of course I can" he smiles, throwing on a pare of shades, as he u locks the car and we both hop in

"Shawn what do you need glasses for? It's almost 10..."

"Sabrina your killing my vibe..."

"Ok, ok" I hold my hands up in defense as he begins to drive.

We arrived not long after.

I unlock the car door and look back at Shawn before exiting

"Thanks" I smile

"Oh it was no problem...i couldn't have you walking. It's not safe"

"No. Not about that."

"Then what?"

"For listening." I give him a warm smile

"It was my pleasure" he smiles back

I felt butterflies in my stomach when he said that. It was just something about him. We said our goodbyes and Shawn stayed to make sure I made it in my house safely.

I opened my door with a spare key I had and waved at shawn goodbye, causing him to slowly drive away.
