Ch 11

-Sabrina's Pov

Shawn and I decided to walk home with our boards in our hands.

He was still pretty drunk. I wasn't much because I was already used to it.

"Ugh my head hurts" Shawn groans

"Well you drank more than one else, and smoked about two blunts on your own!"

He chuckles and pits both hands to his head.

"So...I'm guessing Conner doesn't like me very much" he said now sounding normal, as if his drunk-ness had warn off

"Uh, why do you ask?" I said in a normal tone

"Well, I don't know, just the way he acts when I'm with you ..."

"Oh, ya, don't worry about him"

"And he likes you, doesn't he" he says, running his fingers through his hair

He always seems to do that when he's in a nerve racking situation.

"Oh, ya I guess","how did you know?" I furrow my eyebrows

"Oh I heard you guys talking when I was asleep"

Sneaky, sneaky boy.

"Oh did you now" I raise my eyebrow at him and fold my arms

"Ya, he called me Dawn" he said with an expression much like this --> 😐

I tried to hold in my laughter but eventually It burst out of me

I know, what an idiot" I laughed, causing Shawn to laugh

"Yeah, he is."

I nodded my head and Shawn looked tense

"And...he thinks we're in love" he shoved his hands in his pockets, with his shoulders slightly pulled up

"Yea...he does." I said awkwardly

He didn't answer after that. He just stayed quiet, and everything was kinda, awkward.

It was almost 4 when we arrived at Shawn's door step.

"We're not going to school today ok." Shawn stated

"Ooh bad boy" I smirked

"Yup! Get used to it."

"Ok, I like that. No school today."

"It's going to be just you, and me.","It'll be our day off" he smiled

Hearing him say that gave me a swarm of butterflies. Even though I knew he didn't mean it like that , it still gave me the chills.

I guess, I was wrong about Shawn.He's not a stuck up Good boy. He's actually pretty cool.

"Sounds fun"

We hugged each other goodbye, and I tried so hard to not think of Shawn in that way

"Are you sure you don't want a ride? I can take my moms car like last time" Shawn looked worried

"No, it's ok. I wanna walk."

"Then I'll walk with you" he said in a positive tone, already beginning to walk

"No Shawn, I'm serious, I wanna walk...alone" I giggled

"Ok, fine." He groaned, going back to his doorstep,"Just promise me you'll text me when you get home"

"I promise" I hugged him,"Now go to sleep"

He shook his head as he flashed a smile,"ok, ok","Bye"

"Bye" I said as I began to walk away.

I glanced back at him one last time to see him waiting until I left his sight safely, like last time.

And I began to think to myself.

That! That, is what every girl needs. A guy to care for them.

-Shawn's Pov (ooh what's he doing there 😏😶)

God, what a girl.

I unlocked the door with a spare key hidden in one of my moms plants she has outside and unlocked the door.

I slowly tip toed inside and gently closed the door so I wouldn't wake anyone up.

Especially my parents. There the last people I want to see right now!

I quietly tried to rush upstairs to my room when I heard a foot tapping on the wooden floor.

There stood Aaliyah and a friend of hers holding everything but the kitchen sink in there tiny hands.

"Well, well." She smirks in a mischievous way

"Shit!" I mumbled to myself, "Uh, Aaliyah, what are you doing up?"

"Ashley slept over and we were just having a late night snack. But, the REAL question we should be asking is, what are you doing up?!" She rose her eyebrow , with her friend Ashley dying of laughter

"Crap! Aaliyah please don't tell mom and Dad" I begged

"And what's in it for me?" She smirked

"Aaliyah please, this is really important! I'll pay you, and I'll do all your chores!"

She furrowed her eyebrows in curiosity and slightly tilted her head

"Okay, who is she?. who's the girl?"

"What?, what girl?"

"The girl your madly in love with. You know, the reason we're standing here at 4am, having this conversation."

This girls smart. I clear my throat, then eventually give in.

"Her names Sabrina". I sigh

She smiles, then gives me a head nod.

"I won't tell"

I sigh and give her a hug. "Thanks sis" I smile before we both head up to our rooms.

Thank god.

-Sabrina's Pov

I got home around 4:30 and unlocked the door with my key.

I shut the door carelessly and went up to my room, throwing everything on the ground, including my shoes.

I quickly rinsed off, then changed into some running shorts and a tee.

I hopped into bed then pulled out my phone to text Shawn.

*Convo* -No Pov

Hey, I'm home. 👽 -Sabrina 😋🎀💖

Not long after he replied.

Everything ok? Did you get there safely? 😇 -Shawn 😳☺️🙈

Ya I'm fine ☺️ goodnight 🙈 -Sabrina 😋🎀💖

I rolled my eyes and chuckled to his response. What a dweeb.
